In other words, create a welcome space with comfy furniture for dining, entertaining, and just relaxing.
I love decorating my outdoor spaces, but before the garden is in full 'welcome ' mode I also love to bring a little of the outdoors in.
One of my favorite collections is my watering cans. Some will be planted with Sweet Potato Vines and others I actually use.
Cabbages are planted, but not ready to be plucked. I'll settle for a little faux cutie.
I've had the set of garden plates for years. Perfect addition for my indoor garden.
My collection of floral frogs are just waiting to be put to use.
I brought in a few of my vintage sprinklers.
Love that patina!
Old gardening books and a frog tree under a cloche.
Finials that will end up in the garden make a fun statement indoors.
Seeds needing to be planted are housed in a green ball jar next to an old pair of clippers.
I added another watering can to the stacked picnic hampers in the entry.
This garden themed cabinet caught the attention of a whimsical fork footed bird.
(yup, the feet are made from forks)
After being gone for a few days and raining all weekend I came home to a garden that is really starting to blossom.
Won't be long till a lot of these items will be moving outdoors.
Till then, they make me smile!
hugs,
Jann

Love all of these outdoorsy things on your shelves! I have a larger galvanized water can like that...love anything GALVANIZED!
Jann, When we built this porch...it seems more like a deck, but it's in front of the house. But hey it's in the country, nothing elegant about where we live. I just wish we had invested more money and made it a three season room. Because I think it would be more useful. I love the nice goodies you are going to have outdoors soon. You sure have a good decorating eye. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
I love all the vignettes you created.
In our little house and with our weather, the outdoors is truly another room in our house!

Hi Jann,
Love to see all your garden items. Loooove those stacked picnic basket collection you have. How sweet are all of those. I can't wait to get outside and start to put things in my garden too. A few more weeks. Have a great start to the new week ahead.
Kris

So many pretties to make the heart flutter in this post, Jann. I love the patina of age. I love they murmur stories from the past. Wishing you a week filled with sunshine and a li'l gardening, now that Spring has sprung.
Oh it makes me smile too! So many fun treasures to look at. I'm really liking the stacked picnic hampers!
I love your display! But be careful, mine got so large I had to build a garden cottage for them!
You have some really sweet garden things Jann. I love that red watering can with the punched hold edge. It's so cute! Have a lovely week.

Your vignettes are always inspirational for me! Such lovely retro things deserve special places, and you've accomplished that.

I love your unique collections of watering cans and frogs. Nice to look at and useful! We had our first really nice day in a while today so now I have the bug to get out in the garden and decorate!

My sweet friend, your garden decor is so charming and pretty. I am in charge of decorating for the mother/daughter banquet at my church and the theme is "Grow in Grace" and the decorations will be gardening. You have given me a few extra ideas, dear Jann :)
Thanks for sharing with Roses of Inspiration - it's always a joy to have you at the party. Hugs!
I love your vintage sprinklers, don't know if I ever ran into them while out thrifting. I need to bring some of my garden items in doors, so many vintage sprinklings cans, bucket etc. Love your picnic baskets stacked up...there's no way in our entry to put anything except a tossed shoe.
What a charming collection of sweet garden things! <3 xo Karen
