Fluffing For Fall

 Hello my friends!

Welcome to our

A big thank you to Amber from Follow the Yellow Brick Home for all her work putting this together.  I am so happy to be included!

If you are hopping over from visiting Janet at Rosemary & Thyme then I know that you have already been filled with wonderful ideas!

Although it still feels like summer outside, I definitely feel a bit of fall in the mornings and evenings.

So,
welcome to our home.  I hope you enjoy the touches of fall.

My summer home was filled with watermelons, bees, and sunflowers.  It was easy to add a few pumpkins to ready this beauty for fall.  I love the velvet pumpkins!

Fall touches in the entry.

Black and white checks seem to be all the rage this year.

Love it, but I am still mad for plaid!!

Small quilts add a pop of fall color.

The living room mantle houses my vintage corbels I bought while vacationing in Charleston.

I made the stitch work quite a few years ago.  I still love the dimensional fabric leaves!

I had fun styling my farmhouse table.

I recently bought the giant bee skep.  I just had to leave it out for a while.  The thrift find t.v. tray gives it a fall feel.

I love plaid throws!  I made the owl pillow 2 years ago.

Family room mantle.

I hung my rag garland across the front.  I'm not sure if I love it.  I'm sure I'll do some tweaking.

The kitchen table has an owl theme.

I am such a dish addict!  It's an easy way to add seasonal décor.
A lot of them are thrift store finds.

Don't you love this child's tractor toy?

I'm excited for fall now that September has arrived!

It's time to enjoy the harvest.

Next up is Terrie at  Decorate and More with tip Can't wait to see what she has to share!

Here is a list for all of the other fabulous posts.

hugs,

Well I love all things Fall and I love yours! Girl, I just wish the weather would get with the program for us! Watching the storm has taken my priority but Oh I have been itching to grab some fall. The weather always makes me put it off because in Florida...it surely doesn't feel like Fall. I keep saying that maybe if I bring out just a little Fallish things that the weather might change! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

I love all your fall touches, Jann, Fall is my favorite season! I have been working on mine for a few weeks and have finally finished this weekend.
Now you and I can sit back and enjoy them. while we admire others. One of the reasons I enjoy blogging is seeing how others put so much love into their homes, and yours is so lovely.
Thanks for sharing,'have a blessed week.

Jann, You certainly have the right dishes for every season. I love how you have made them work in your decorating. I love all the cloth pumpkins, you never have to worry if they might go bad. :):) I like the garland too. I keep thinking I will make one, haven't yet. :) Hoping you have some wonderful fall weather this year. Take care, blessings to all, xoxo, Susie

My goodness, Jann, you've been as busy as those bees that've been hanging around all summer! You really brought out the wares, and you are ready for fall. I am loving that stitch work you pointed out with the dimensional leaves, as well as those quilts. And even though I am crazy for checks too (ahem, my tote would be offended otherwise!), I am more mad for plaid like you. And you know I am also a dish addict, so those always appeal to me. Of course, there's that wonderful tower of vintage plaid picnic baskets. What I want to know is what do you have stored inside them, lol?? If you're like me, they were storing some of the other smalls you've styled. Very fun!

I love that you are on the hop this time and of course everything looks fun for fall.

Every time I see your plaid treasures I wonder why I never see them. I need to keep a keen eye out for plaid at the next vintage show I go to.

It looks terrific Jann, and you've been seriously busy! I haven't been ready for the full-fall oranges but they're looking so good here! I might change my mind. I especially love your quilts, given that I'm a vintage quilt collector. They look terrific. The plaid is fun too. Oh, good grief. It's all fun!

I love your entry Jann and all your fun fall vignettes too. I would never have thought to use the black and white check for fall but gosh, it's totally fabulous. You really do have the best dish collection. I can't wait to see everything you have in store for us this season. It's all looks really good. Hugs, CoCo

Love seeing all of your lovely fall décor, Jann. I am so ready for it as usual but I won't be doing a whole lot of fall fluffing (or Christmas fluffing for that matter) this year....well, maybe just a tad. There's only so much decorating you can do living in an RV...yes, we are moving to TN in a month!

Fall looks gorgeous in your world! I love plaids too.
I was cleaning my third floor the other day and came across a little pair of wooden shoes that belonged to my oldest daughter. My neighbor was from the Netherlands got them for her ~ anyway, you've inspired me to bring them out and use them. such a cute display.

Have a great weekend Jan.

Jann, I'm a tad late for the tour, but didn't want to miss your fall touches. You've been busy, my friend. I've yet to bring out much, and may not. We are awaiting the start of our remodel and things are a bit disrupted. My mind is on other things! Thanks for the inspiration!
