The Night Before Easter. . .

It's the night before Easter and all through the house. . .
there's plenty of critters, but hopefully no mouse!

the BUNNIES hat is placed on the mantle with care. . .Hopefully it won't be long until in hops a hare!

Plenty of his friends are waiting in there. . .

Some are chocolate,

Others look more like peeps.

That BUNNY leaves baskets filled with all kind of treats, and hides eggs all around the house as he leaps.

(kind of creepy if you really think about it.  lol)

After finding the basket and egg hunting is done.  The real meaning of Easter will have begun.

We'll put on our Sunday best and off to church we go to learn of Jesus and how we are blessed.

There's nothing wrong with enjoying the fun. . .but take time to remember Jesus and that he is the one!

The one that Easter is really about.

He's better than chocolate, candy, or any old bunny hopping about!

Happy Easter!
hugs,
Jann

Oh how fun!! I hope you don't discover eggs where they shouldn't be, Jann. The Easter Bunny does tend to get carried away. Gorgeous post, gorgeous pretties, summing it up with the lovely message of why we celebrate Easter. You have planted a smile in my heart with your lyrical words. Wishing you a blessed Easter. Xx

What a darling post in all the precious colors that look so springy. You have put a smile in my heart and a little whistle to go along with it. :)

I love the way you described the joy and fun that comes with Easter, but then touched our hearts with the true meaning of this glorious Holiday.

Praise and glory to our Risen Lord.

Blessings~~Debbie

I love your poem and beautiful photos. YOU just decorate so perfectly. Did you make your quilts? I agree, Jesus is the Reason. He is always the reason - isn't He? I love your sweet home and decorations. Thank you for sharing so many!
