Road Trip. . .Final Destination(almost)

From Couer D’Alene we spent one day in Sandpoint and then headed towards our final destination – Glacier National Park.

Guess what?  You’re never going to believe this.

We drove one more scenic byway, Wild horse trail.  Ya know, four just wasn’t quite enough.

Don’t worry, I didn’t write another country song.

Really though, it was gorgeous.

Here’s a bit of what we saw along the way:

Why do men always love taking pics of your backside?

055

If you ask me, 5 is about 4 too many!

I know that my kids would be thinking, “there’s no way mom would go out on that.  I am a bit afraid of heights.  How could I not, it’s turquoise!

It was really swingy and kind of scary.

The entire trip my hubby just kept saying how he wished he’d brought his pole.  But he didn’t want me to have to wait for him to fish.

Ya think?  That’s the least I could’ve done.  I mean how many stores, yard sales,  antique, and thrift shops did he stop at for me?

Well, he may not have brought his pole, but a little town in Montana, Callahan Creek gave him the next best thing.

That’s some fish!

Tomorrow I will show you pics of the beautiful Glacier.  Then Monday, I will share my traveling treasures.

Hope ya all come back now!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I was thinking the same thing about the little plate rack, it really does make the strawberry stand out. The strawberry was a Christmas present from my mom and dad. I love it because they both thought that it was an apple, I don't have the heart to correct them. :)

The pictures of your trip are amazing, I love to stop at yard sales antique shops and thrift stores when we are out of town. It is amazing how the second hand market varies from one town to the next.

I hope you will be by again soon.

:) Michelle

ps. definitely check out True Blood, its great. Although, it's HBO (kind of sexy stuff the first few episodes), so be sure take it with a grain of salt.
