Today is Nov. 1st and with it comes the reminder of BOUNTIFUL Blessings.
I have been a bit busy, so I haven’t put the Thanksgiving décor out yet. However, it wasn’t too difficult to grab my November calendar
It sits atop my desk where I can see it daily.
I made this runner years ago. It has ragged edge pumpkins and leaves.
Look at this darling little pumpkin pie crochet pin cushion, complete with cream on top. I bought it at Swiss Days (an outdoor Fall boutique) for $10.
I thought it would be appropriate if I shared some of my many blessings with you throughout the month.
Today I am thankful for:
My blogging friends!
For a first time adventure, I met one of my blogging friends in real life.
How fun is that? It all started with my apron give away.
Kimberly, the winner chose a Christmas apron instead of the one I posted for my give away.
Vicki/Jake from: http://justcallmejake.blogspot.com/ saw this and asked if she could buy the heart apron. I said sure and that I would be happy to mail it to her.
Instead, she had a better idea.
She just happened to be a UT blogger. She lives a little over an hour away from my home. Her son works in Lindon, which is just 20 min. away. I met her there.
From there we went to Magleby’s for lunch. Isn’t she a cutie! She’s modeling her new apron.
My friend Ann came along in case Vicki was some crazy woman stalker. lol! Just kidding, I needed a friend to take our picture.
Look at their long hair. Vicki’s goes clear down to her patuddy. Hey, she’s a ‘cutie patuddy’! She said some people say she is a ‘Flower Child.’ Works for me, I love flowers!!
Notice the fresh sign? I joked that they were both ‘FRESH’.
I had so much fun getting to know Vicki/Jake. We found we had a lot in common. Like we both hate wearing coats and love wearing flip-flops. Seriously, it was hard to break out the boots today. Vicki still had on flip flops. Gotta love her! It had been raining, and now is snowing. Sure hope we meet up again! Don’t you love your blog friends?

What fun! I love that calendar. It is great to be able to meet up with blog friends,,,I have had several opportunities and it has just made for even better friendships. We have so much in common with our blog friends!

I met one of my blogging friends last year in Vermont (And I live on the West Coast!!) It was a wonderful time; she showed me around the Vermont country side and we are friends to this day!
What fun! It's always so special to meet a blog buddy! You both are beautiful...let me see those feet! Any flips flops there? heehee! I love them in Florida...too cold here! Are we still guessing? Can I change mine now? ♥♥♥
Who would have ever thought an apron could do this? What a fun day, and good lunch. I loved meeting you and Ann, you're both cuties.
