What $10 will get you at T.J. Maxx. A large Amaryllis bulb, a cute white pot, and a small bag of soil.
The results: PRICELESS!
This plant has performed it’s little heart out this holiday season. I have already dead headed three blooms. It now has four and a new bud coming out of the center.
My paperwhites had gotten so tall and lanky that this morning I cut them off and put them in my vintage turquoise speckled pitcher. A $7 yard sale bargain.
The holiday season will soon be coming to an end. Hopefully my pretty flowers will last until the New Year. I think that they were worth every penny!
Happy New Year!
Jann

Those are beautiful, and must put a smile on your face each time you see them blooming! I on the other hand...do not have a green thumb. I agree with you though, money well spent!
Gorgeous blooms! I didn't get one this year but I'll have to remember for next!
Merry (late) Christmas!
I just love that flowery vignette! The colors are so pretty.
It looks beautiful in your vintage pitcher!

There's nothing like greenery and live flowers to add warmth to the home on these dreary days.
I don't know what I'd do without my geraniums to gaze upon!
Yes, I'm a little weird, but I've learned to live with it!
Happy New Year!
The amaryllis is beautiful! Your floral vignette at your sink must make washing dishes so much more delightful!
Your flowers are so pretty...love those paperwhites...I just bought a couple of tiny herb garden kit starter sets with the tiny greenhouse included from Ross store recently...I can hardly wait to get those planted and started. Gives me something special to look forward to for spring! Growing things is fun...enjoy your flowers!
Happy New Year! Thanks for sharing them...
Big hugs,
Queenie
Oh how beautiful, your flowers are stunning. Money well spent for such loveliness. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
Pretty stuff this time of year:)
I saw some of these at a TJ Max that were already growing right out of the box! Guess I should have taken them home...glad you did:)
after seeing that I am ready for daffodills!
Beautiful flowers! Happy New Year!
Wow, you are so right! They are all gorgeous plants with beautiful blooms. You must have the green thumb.
Both are beautiful...I have never done that...I need to try...maybe next year!
In the middle of winter, I would say very worth it! I am envious, I don't have any bulbs blooming at my house. Visiting from Rednesday,

Those are so beautiful, but i love most especially the amaryllis. I wish you will be able to make the bulb live again for next time. Happy New Year!
I really love Amaryllis! They are wonderful! Great deal indeed! Last year I forced a lot of Paperwhites to use in decorating - I missed that this year! We bought a Star of Bethlehem for one of our church members who had surgery - I used it in my new header picture - I have fallen for it!
I hope you have a blessed New Year,
Kathy
Hi Jann,
OMG....yours are beautiful! WOW, talk about a blooming good time!
Mine are only thinking about blooming...I don't know what they are waiting for!
I hope to have something to say about them soon!
Just fantastic!!
All the Best,
Christine

Hi, Jann! Happy new year and a very merry CHRISTmas!
Would you believe it? I finally got the mail packet that had your pattern inside! Love it! Thanks so much for sharing. I truly appreciate it.
GORgeous flowers! Whoa! I've only done those once, years ago. If I could, it'd an annual thing now. Oh, well. Enjoy them!
It's so wonderful to have flowers inside when the weather gets cold! Happy holidays!♥
