Patchwork of LOVE

I’d like to start this morning off by saying “Thank You” to Shannon at Cozy Home Scenes for featuring my Circle of Love post on her Friday Features. It made my day!

Tomorrow is Pink Saturday.  This week the theme is ‘Anything Goes".  Anything Valentine themed that is.

I thought I would share with you my quilts that I display for Valentines.

This first one is not a quilt, but a patchwork apron I made a few years ago.

I loved the combination of pinks, reds, and browns in this charm pack.

IMG_5433

This quilt is in my entry.  It’s called, “Chocolates for Valentines”.

I showed this quilt in a previous post.  Thought I would show you my random back.  I love using what ever I might have on hand.

I had picked up this cute brown/pink ticking on sale somewhere.  I threw in this polka-dot and. . .

an extra block I had.

This quilt hangs on the railing leading to our upper level.

IMG_5416

Just a simple patchwork of fun fabrics.  Every now and then there is a “he loves me”, and a “he loves me not” embroidery patch.

IMG_5417

The back has a border across the bottom with a large “he loves me”!  The front ended with a “he loves me not” patch and I just couldn’t have that. lol!

IMG_5419

The quilter quilted it with a cute variegated rambling heart.

IMG_5418

This is probably my favorite Valentine quilt.  It has hand appliqued hearts with all kinds of fun embellishments. I love the colors in this quilt.  It is called, “Heart to Heart”.

IMG_5420

IMG_5422

This picture showing the entire quilt was taken at our “Kennel Girls” quilt show.  I love the scalloped border.

These last two I have shown before.

IMG_5262_thumb[1]

Again, I love the scallops and the polka-dots!

IMG_5269_thumb[1]

This one I use as a table topper in the kitchen.

IMG_5431

It has a cute vintage Valentine print, rick rack, and yes a scalloped border.

I hope that my collection of patchwork made you feel “All Wrapped Up In Love”!

Jann

Hi Jann,
Oh, what a lovely Valentine's Day Quilt Show!! They are all so beautiful...the heart motif is so sweet quilted on your "he loves me". The "heart to heart" is so pretty that one pulled on my heart strings. It has that old fashioned appeal that I love so much!! You know Jann, I do love the red & white quilt on your bed!
Well, let's just say I love them all! I don't want to leave any out!
All the Best,
Christine

Your quilts are so pretty, Jann! What a warm, cozy, "I-love-you" feel they must bring to your home. I love the pink and brown color combination. I've never made a quilt but I want to! That's on my "someday" list. I sure have enough fabric - LOL! Have a lovely weekend and thanks for sharing your Valentine's Day beauties.

Utterly charming, each and every one! Thanks for sharing them with us.

I just hung my first Valentine's quilt yesterday. It's a pink/red/white small version of the Schnibbles pattern Mon Ami.

Cheers!

Happy Pink Saturday Jann Sweetie...
What a gorgeous, gorgeous share. I love quilts, though I have not conquered making one yet. Your hearts are so purely delightful. I love the pink and brown combination together, it is so soft and feminine. Just gorgeous.

Your heart to heart wins my vote for sure. It is stunning, of course they all are, but I really love that one.

I am your newest follower. So happy to have found you. I have been away from Pink Saturday since before Christmas due to an illness and found your blog today, my first day back. What a blessing. Thank you for sharing sweet friend. Country hugs and Valentine love, Sherry

I love your quilts. I've been trying to teach myself how to quilt, but my project is on the back burner right now. I'm hoping to get back to it very soon. Thank you for sharing.

I love your quilts. I am a quilt collector/fanatic/lover of red and pink! Hahahaha, what a wonderful post. I love all your quilts and the colors. Just beautiful. I just posted yesterday about doing ragged edge applique. Have you tried this? It is a quick easy way to do seasonal quilts. Anyhow...I am a new follower of your wonderful blog!
