Those of you who know me know how much I love to decorate for Holidays.
Valentines Day is no exception. I mean, what’s not to love about it? The dominant colors are red and pink, flowers, lace, and candy? Also, it’s all about ‘LOVE’. My youngest son was even born on Valentines Day. Or ’Dalantines Day’ as he calls it. Yes, his name is Dalan. How could I not love it?
Sometimes as I look around my house I think that maybe I’ve gone a bit overboard with the décor.
All it takes is a trip about 5 miles down the road to confirm that “YES, there are people out there worse than me”. Can you believe it?
Not the best time of day for taking pics, but I think you’ll get the gist.
Hubby and I went down to American Fork for an In and Out Burger. We snapped these pics on the way.
This is what it looked like on the way home.
This one was taken without the flash.
This may be a little more décor than I care for on the outside, but you have to admit, “That’s a Whole Lotta Love!”
What really amazes me is that it is an older woman that lives here. I mean like in her 70’s or maybe even 80’s. I wonder if she or maybe a grand child does it. It is all decked out like this for every holiday.
Funny thing, I have never seen anyone doing the décor. It just seems to magically appear.
Now I have never been inside her home, maybe she doesn’t have that much inside.
Usually though, if the outside looks like this, the inside has even more.
Gotta love her for showing a “Whole Lotta Love!”
Hugs,
Jann

Wow, we do not decorate that way here for Valentines, just Christmas and Halloween.
Wow, that is a lot of LOVE! I don't even decorate that much for Christmas or Halloween!
Well, good for the lady who lives there!! I bet the inside of her house is filled with decorations and probably lots of treasures too!!!!
xoxo
Wow, they sure do go all out for decorating!...the evening shot is so cool...there's something awesome about the glow of lights against the dark background!
That is awesome! What is the address, I am going down to my mom's to help with Valentine's and would love to drive by! Jessica
So, why not knock on the door and find out:) Ya, that's a bit overboard for me too but to each her own:) btw, most of your pictures didn't show up. Maybe I'll try my other browser....
My oh my! She is in her 70's? Christmas must be amazing!! I am sure she has more inside!
I've never seen that kind of decorating for Valentine's Day. That is really something. Sweet story about someone decorating for the older lady.
Dalantine's Day ... I loooove it !
and that's gonna be my house someday when I'm in my 70's and 80's :))
Unbelievable!
Now that is more than some people have for christmas!

Hi Jann,
That is a whole lot of love!
What a great display...
Maybe she was a florist back in her day!
Have a great week!
All the Best,
Christine
Wow - I haven't seen any Valentine's decoration quite like that! I have mixed feelings about it - in one way I find it a bit over the top, but then I think 'why not, if it makes her happy' - and if it makes passersby smile!
Don't you know she must enjoy it so much? I bet she bakes heart shaped sugar cookies, too! ♥
Cracking up over here...but in a good way. This really made me laugh! I actually enjoy seeing houses like this because we don't go "all out". I think some very loving people must live there!
Hi Jann, Your evening sounds lovely. I enjoy pulling out my paper Valentine's Day cards, I love to add them to the hutch. How sweet your neighbors in the community enjoy decorating for romance. It's nice to know it is appreciated at any age.
Happy Birthday to your Dalan. Happy Valentine'd Day to you….
