Share Your Cup Thursday #80 and an Announcement

Hello my friends and welcome to Share Your Cup!  (SYC for short).  The party where you share the things in life that make you happy.

I appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to party here at ‘Have a Daily Cup’!  It is a joy and a pleasure to see what amazing things you share each week.  I want to mention that there are still a lot of blogs that have word verification on.  If you take this off you will get more comments.

Before I show this weeks features I am so excited to share this announcement:

A few other bloggers have teamed up with me to bring you a CREATING CHRISTMAS’ link party.  Some of you may remember this party from last year.  This year it is even bigger and better!

My daughter made this cute button for me.

                                                                         Creating Christas Image

I wanted to get the word out early so that you can be planning your décor around some of the themes. lol!

Each blogger will hi-lite a particular style of Christmas.  Please come link up to as many as possible.  Mark your calendars and we would love if you posted this button on your sidebar as a reminder.  Who knows, there might be a prize drawing for those who do.

Here’s the line up:

Sunday Dec. 7th Carlene from (Organized Clutter) – Vintage Christmas.

Monday Dec. 8th Kris from (Junk Chic Cottage) – White Christmas

Tuesday Dec. 9th Susan from (Must Love Junk) – Rustic Christmas

Wednesday Dec. 10th Tracie from (Fishtail Cottage) –Cottage Christmas

Thursday Dec. 11th Jann (moi) from (Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson) – Sugar & Spice Christmas.

Now onto this weeks features:

Besa GM had a favorite quilt that was showing some wear.  She added a crochet edge and giant pom poms.  Love it!

Lynda Bergman's art work always amazes me.  Love these rustic bird stools!

Carlene from Organized Clutter made the cutest photo wall grouping using old clipboards.

I love the combination of paint and stain that Denise from Spittin Toad used on this vintage sewing table!

Tea Time with Trina dressed up as a darling witch and threw an amazing ‘witches tea’!

Oh my gosh, I had such a hard time narrowing down a food item to feature.  So many delicious things shared!

I finally decided on this Churro Cheesecake by  Moments with Mandi.  YUM!

Now for the two most visited links:

#1 was Kathy from Sharing Shadymont for Decluttering and Painting

#2 was Sarah from Hyacinths for the Soul for Witch at the Door

Thanks everyone for sharing!

Congrats and please grab my button if you were featured.

Now let’s Party!

A few rules and then let the fun begin!

1. I would love for you to be a follower of Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson.
2. Link up a particular post and not your entire blog. Please limit your links to no more than three and please do not link up the same thing you linked up last week.
3. Please have a link back to this post. That way others will know where the party is. Feel free to grab my button on the sidebar if you’d like. Only those with a link back will be featured.
4. Please find time to visit at least two other participants. It’s a great way to find new friends.

After you link up please come back and leave a comment. They help to fill my cup!

Good evening, Jann. Thanks for hosting. My brain may be a taco shy of the combo plate - but could you explain the Creating Christmas link party again?? Does one link up only to the party that matches their theme? So, if I had a cottage theme for my Christmas decor, I would link up to Tracie from Fishtail Cottage? Thanks

Jann, Absolutely love your newly made up "Guest Room". It is so full of tender loving care. I'm so taken with the old door/now/headboard, what a fantastic idea.
My own daughter and son-in-law are living in Omaha for the next 3 years as he finishes dental school, so I now have the opportunity of having guests come and stay. I have had a blast re-doing a bedroom for this purpose. (Yes, it was a bit challenging keeping in mind that a man would also be occupying this room).
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the feature this week.
