Nooks and Crannies. . .

Hello my friends,

There's something about nooks and crannies in a garden that makes my heart go all a flutter!

Traipsing down a little trail or turning a corner to happen upon one is just ever so delightful!

I attended the Pleasant Grove garden tour last Monday night and I thought I would share some of the fun spots with you.

Cross over this sweet bridge and you are delighted with this cute chippy birdhouse and shed.

The same garden had this grape covered retreat tucked back into one corner.  The grape vine continued to grow all along their back fence.  It was a small yard, but full of eye candy!

Nooks and crannies often have benches that coax you into taking a seat and sitting a spell.

But now and then you'll find a fun out building.

This tranquil pond was tucked back into a corner of the garden where a local artist has her studio.

This statue watches over it for her.

These last few photos aren't nooks and crannies, but too cute to not share with you!

Loved this wagon full of posies!

Pleasant Grove is the town I grew up in.  I lived in the same house up until I was married.

Their local summertime town celebration is called,
"Strawberry Days"

Mom would always buy us a cue Strawberries Day outfit every year to wear to the parade.

Look at this darling mother/daughter duo.

She gave away herbal tea and set up a darling refreshment area.

The baskets are filled with assorted strawberry candies.

This is the house they live in.  It was in the garden tour as well.

I'll leave you with a photo of one of my nooks and crannies.
This photo is a few years old.  The ground covers have taken over the flagstone area.

This is a more recent photo that I shared on Instagraam.

hugs,

I will be sharing with these fun parties:
