A Bit of Spooky Fall Tour

Fall has arrived and you can finally feel it in the air.

It certainly is a beautiful time of year!!

Sweet Amber from Follow the Yellow Brick Home has done it again.  She is so amazingly talented and has put together an Embracing Fall Home Tour.  It's always so fun to join in!

If you are hopping over from Lora Bloomquist's, welcome!  I know that she has shared something fabulous!!

Once October arrives I have to add a touch of 'spooky' to my fall décor.  I don't like gory spooky, just whimsical.  : )

Today I'll be sharing our front porch.

Bernie Bones is always excited to come out.  He's been stuck in that storage room for a long time!  This year he has a new (old) plaid lounger to relax on.  We recently sold our inlaws home.  This treasure was hiding in the furnace room.
I swooned when we saw it.

A new thrift find is the honeycomb spider.  He's so excited to be hanging out by Bernie.  I made the fall pillow a few years ago.

I love pumpkins and scatter them around randomly.

I planted pumpkins again this year, but only got two.  One was the large pumpkin by the witch.

The paint on this pumpkins sign was all faded, so a couple of years ago I repainted it.

I try to always let friends and neighbors know when I'm home.

I hung a wreath on the door to say, "welcome"

I also pulled a few sick plants out of my two urns and added a flowering cabbage and mini pepper.

My cousin gave me some cornstalks and I decorated the table with Halloween/fall décor.

I've had this giant partying crow for some time.  I think he's so cute!  And, what's not to love about an orange soda crate?

I bought this funny fella from my beautician.  She made him in a trick or treat bucket.  He just makes me smile!!

The garden flowers are fading fast, but company is always welcome!  I hope you feel happily haunted when you come to our front door!!

Look for a list of all the creative bloggers participating below.

happy fall,

Your front door looks so inviting for all those little ones dressed up and begging treats. I miss answering the door to the children and seeing their costumes. Now that we live in the country we haven't had any trick or treaters.
