The month of October is here, and Halloween is upon us. Last night I decided that it was time to bring the ‘Spooks’ out to party.
I have a collection of vintage reproduction pieces that are probably my ‘favorite’ Halloween decorations.
I bought them all at a discount. If you’re familiar with these, you know that they can be a bit pricey.
Being the ‘bargain shopper’ that I am, I wait until they are at least half price.
This is the first year that I have put them on my table. They usually hang out in my blue cabinet in the entryway.
Call me crazy, but I like mixing things around a little each year.
Because they are a bit' ‘scary’, I thought that I had better cage of few of them in. Wouldn’t want to scare the grandies, hee-hee!
I had just bought this garden piece on sale. After seeing an idea similar to this at ‘Gatehouse’, I knew it would be perfect for the job.
I had forgotten that I had these ‘spooky’ dishes. I found them at the D.I. last year after Halloween for $.75 cents each. They had a price tag on the bottom of $9.99. Packed them away, to my delight they worked perfectly.
I love this little guy! He’s ready to trick for some treats.
A face only a mother could love.
I bought this moon quite a few years ago at ‘Gardener Village’. It helps light the way for the ‘spooks’.
The tablecloth is the back side of one of my quilts. The front was way too busy. I wanted the ‘spooks’ to be the main attraction.
This witch was the first vintage reproduction I bought. She beguiled me!
It’s all in the details. The spider, the key, and the ‘Witching Hour’ tag.
No ‘Halloween’ table would be complete without a Raven lurking close by.
I know that I have something that I hang from the backs of my chairs. Haven’t ran across it yet.
I hope that I didn’t scare you too much with my ‘spooks’. As frightening as they might be, they sure like to party.
I know that not everyone loves this look, Lucky for me, because of that, I’m able to buy them at a discount.
I love my ‘spooks’!

Jann, it's fun to see your Halloween pieces. I've collected a few through the years too. I've not pulled things out as yet, but will do so soon. I'm especially fond of the vintage reproduction pieces. There are many talented artists doing these pieces. ~ Sarah
