Feathering My Nest. . .

Spring has arrived and outside the sun is shining.  We have received a lot of rain the last couple of days and my perennials are starting to flourish.

Anticipation of the future blooms has me filled with delight.

The other day Mr. Robin was back in town.  As I snapped a picture of him he turned and looked me straight in the eye.  It was almost as if he was posing for me.

Plump little fella isn’t he?  Hey, maybe that’s what he was thinking about me. lol!

After taking down the Easter décor I decided to feather my nest.

My mantel got a new makeover.

I love how my turquoise wreath I made makes the curtain rods pop. To see how I made it go here.

I just bought the green birds.  I feel  they really helped tie in the green ribbons that I put on my wreath.

I bought the shadow box at a boutique a few years ago.  Still loving it!  It’s hard to tell from the pic, but it has a lot of dimensional items in it.

A jar full of moss balls with a bird tag to help keep with the color and the theme.

I made the N.E.S.T. banner last year.  I had so much fun pulling from my stash.

I used my turquoise glitter to give chipboard letters some bling.

What a handsome fella...we have a big robin visit our backyard every day. He eats berries, splashes in the bath and turns a cocky eye our way if he spots us! I like the moss in the glass jar~ pretty. Thanks for visiting my blog,

Jann...You have feathered your nest so beautifully. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your banner. Is that fabric or paper background? After looking again I am thinking fabric because of the grommets. And...you made a wreath from a curtain rod? I have to see if I can find that post. xo Diana

I love all the feathers in your nest. You have done a great job once again. The wreath is so pretty on your mantel. I hung up my 'BLOOM' banner that you gave away on your blog and I got to be the lucky winner. It's so fun and I think about my cutie friend Jann every time I glance at it. Love it so much!

Great shot of the robin. One appeared in my yard yesterday just when I had my camera at hand. She though it was a game and kept flying off when I tried.

Your mantel looks great - love your banner.

Have always loved that blue and green together and that banner is so sweet. Can't believe you got so close to Mr Robin. He looks like he thinks that camera might be a worm.
