Color My World!

Sometimes I like to imagine what the world would look like if it were perfect…

In a perfect world there would be color. . .lots and lots of color!

Oh, I forgot. . .there is!

In other words. . .the world is perfect.  The people in it, however still need a bit of working on.

Today we took a ride up Provo Canyon.  Even though it was overcast and cloudy the mountains still put on a fabulous show.  Imagine what it would look like if the sun had been shining!

The conversation behind this collage.

Me to my daughter:  take a picture of dad and I by this gorgeous bush.

Kylee after taking 1st picture:  Okay, now gaze into each others eyes.

3rd picture:  Self explanatory

Color my world? Are you kidding? With the drought I've seen across the Midwest to Connecticut? It absolutely colored my world, indeed. Breathtaking beautiful.

Oh, so pretty! This is why Fall is my favorite season of the year! It's one big quilt of golden colors. I couldn't help but notice you and your daughter were wearing orange...Love it.
I, too, would be giggling if my kids told me to gaze into my hubbies eyes with all eyes watching!
Thanks for sharing and I enjoyed riding along in your video.
Hugs on this beautiful day!

OMG Jan, that mountain is spectacularly spectacular, LOL. I wish to see something like that in this lifetime as our climate doesn't produce that at all in nature! That is your reward for having the winter, which we don't have! And your family looks really spectacular as well. God bless. You seem to be so much blessed.

Nice fall color photos! I especially like the waterfalls. Things are just beginning to change here. Usually the peak is early November.

Beautiful photos! I love fall colors. I wish we'd get some sun so I could get some pics, but so far all we've gotten is rain.

I love those photos of you and your sweetie! I had to laugh at them though...I can just imagine your reaction to Kylee's request. It sure made for some sweet photos! Love the color (you guys look fabulous, by the way)...I am sure hoping the leaves hold out a little longer on the east coast. We are headed up to Massachusetts at the end of October - hope there are still some leaves on the trees then! But, we may have left it a little late...

Oh my goodness, Jann! Thanks so much for sharing all of these images and the video! Where I live, all of that is like makebelieve, so it is good to see you experience it up close and personal. Amazing colors. Love the variations. I didn't know it could be that beautiful. Really, I'm not sure I've ever seen pictures of Fall looking so colorful. Of course, I don't get out of Florida much and when I do it's never Fall. I enjoyed this immensely!

Wonderful colours!!! It looks to be so late in the year over there! Here the colours are just turning yellow and orange.. although I love summer and hate winter I can't wait for all those colours to appear here as well.
