For many of you love in a cup might be your morning cup of coffee, or sipping on a hot cup of tea.
Well, I don’t drink coffee, and only occasionally drink tea. So for me, the closest thing to love in a cup would be an ice cold drink of Coca Cola. Although I prefer it straight from the can. Really cold of course. Seems like anymore that every time I put it on ice I get busy and forget to drink it.
But that’s not the ‘love in a cup’ I am referring to. Todays love is a little red bird in a vintage cup.
This little sweet tweet was a gift from my friend, Dolly. She made one for me and one for my sis, Jeanne. She adorned the handle with bits of pearls and lace and a love tag.
As you can see, this little birdie wasn’t sure where it wanted to nest.
I love birds and I love felt and wool so this little birdie is ever so sweet!
This little love in a cup flew right into my heart!

What a darling little bird. Love the way you have it displayed. I'm wandering back to browse through some more SYC. I am hiding in my office today. My natural blonde shade is on the mousey side - so I ramp it up a bit a couple times a year... any way I thought I'd go with a warmer shade then go to the salon for highlights. .. anyway I went too dark...the joke around here is my H is getting a brunette for V Day. The color is nice .. just not me, if you know what I mean. Tuesday I'll wander over to the salon and see what they have to say.. in the meantime I have decided to just go with it - it's hair color -easier to deal with than last mid-winter slumps bad hair cut!
