Valentine Swap

Back in January I saw that Sandi from 521 Lake Street was hosting a Valentine Swap.  It sounded fun and I was in.

Here’s what Sandi asked us to make:

A card and or tag, and a decorated Valentine Candy Box.  Square, round, heart shaped, a Valentine tin…whatever you fancy.  Fill the container with “bits and bobs” for Valentines and Spring that your partner can use for crafting.

She also asked us to show our goodies in a post on Valentines.

I was paired up with Debbie from Kitten Creates.  I had fun getting to know her and filling the box I created for her with goodies.

When my package arrived I felt like a kid in a candy store.  It was just overflowing with goodness!

This sweet box was covered with red and hot pink felt.  Little white flowers with red buttons adorn the edge.  Notice the cute polka dot edge?  The matching tag had fabulous beads dangling from the bottom.

Inside it was filled to the brim with so many crafting goodies!  Just take time to take it all in.

Wonderful hand dyed ribbon.

I swooned when I spied the little mushrooms!

Cute buttons, mini bottles, you name it. . .she sent it!

I love how she tucked the little treasures into mini paper holders.  As sweet as any chocolates!

She also sent a darling card too.  Love this little pocket holding these fun cards!

Thanks so much Debbie.  I love each and every little thing!

Here’s a peek at the heart box I decorated for Debbie.  Hop over to her blog Kitten Creates I’m pretty sure she will be showing what else I sent her.

Wishing you all a Happy Valentines and hope you are spending it with those you love!

Loved the box you made so pretty. The box you received was so full. I don't think I have ever seen something so full of so many goodies before. Loved all those crafty items and the card was really nice.
