Hello my friends, gorgeous weather, pretty pink flowers, and recent finds prompted me to have a pink tea in the garden.
Yup, a pink tea for just little ole me!
although things are winding down, there’s still some pretties to enjoy.
I set this up in the shade, but by the time I was ready to sit down it was sunny. lol!
Well, as you probably already guessed; the tea wasn’t actually pink. It was a green tea. . .still seeping in a pretty cup which once belonged to my Aunt Viola.
but the teapot was. Isn’t this so sweet? The pot itself is actually white, but it has an insulated metal pink cover.
Look at the details on this gorgeous plate. The back is labeled, Ovington Bros. ‘Made in England’. Both the teapot and the plate will be listed in my etsy
So will this pretty sugar bowl.
After I set this table I realized that everything I used was either a thrift or estate sale find.(sigh)

To accent the blue in the cloth I used my blue and white enamel pitcher to hold my gorgeous Limelight Hydrangea blooms.
Extra cups in case a friend, (or two, or three); might drop in and join me for my positively perfect pink tea! Say that three times fast. Hee-hee!
What would a pink tea be without a pink chair? Rustic but ever so charming!
I sat the pitcher on the chair to take a photo of something and decided it was picture worthy.
Notice the touches of pink on the blossoms?
And what did I have to go with my ‘pink tea’? A pasta salad I made on Saturday filled with lots of goodies from the garden. . .and a slice of toast with some of my homemade raspberry jam.
Perfect weather for a Positively Pretty Pink tea!

This is so lovely Jann. It's been very cool here the past few days and I've wanted to have a tea on our deck but I'd need to get blankets out for my 'guests' I think. I like the teapot which reminds me of one my mother had back in the 60's. They were a great invention. I hope your nice weather continues. Hugs. Pam
How nice to have warm weather, Jann. Like Pam already said, it's been cool here in eastern Canada. I haven't been able to set up an outdoor tea for ages. Love those limelights - my neighbors hang over our picket fence and I always volunteer to trim them on our side:)

I have seen several postings this week which include photos of Limelight hydrangeas , one of my favorites! Your pictures are lovely.

The darker pink elongated-flowered hydrangea is "Pinky Winky". It starts out white and changes to a dark vivid pink. I also have "incrediball" and Endless Summer hydrangeas. Here in Manitoba it has only been recently that we have been able to grow hydrangeas, because they now have developed varieties that bloom on new wood.

I have a teapot similar to yours but the teapot is pink and the metal cozy is copper colored. I think that company must have made lots of combinations. Your garden is LOVELY!

Looks like spring time! We have hints of fall showing here and warm weather continues thus far!I think a bit of lavender lemonade would be a little contrast there!
