Hello my friends and happy ‘2015’!
I’m sure you’ve all heard the phrase, ‘be careful what you pray (or ask) for you might just get it.’
Well, my friends I certainly have! Yes, I had been praying for snow for a month or so knowing how badly we needed it.
But, I was hoping for that gorgeous snow on the ground, with a sun shiny day. lol!
Not happening! It’s been bitter cold here lately and now I’m praying for it to warm up. This girl is never satisfied. Hee-hee!
Well, if you can’t beat em, join em!! I continue to add snippets of Winter throughout my home.
It may be cold outside, but I’m going for warm and cozy in!
I’ve pulled out some of my milk glass and filled the blue cabinet in the entry.
I love these white deer given to me by my sweet cousin, Betty!
As much as I love those frosty whites and silvers I have to throw in a little bit of color now and then.
I love these snow dusted tulips!
How about you, are you celebrating Winter, or going straight for Valentines?
I’m working on a little project and will be switching over in a few weeks.
And I think I may need to just toss this soon! lol!
hugs,
Jann

I love your winter snippets, such pretty colors!
That silly snow is lost and going to all the wrong places. Still dry in Ohio. But I just returned from Colorado and it has been dumping there. Your snow decorations will have to keep you company for now. Happy New Year.
Beautiful photos :-) I am glad you've got the snow you wished for. I would never wish for snow... chocolate yes, snow... never lol
big hugs--- happy new year

I've been wishing for snow here too... nothing yet, but it's still early. I love all of your winter decorations. I left just a tiny bit of winter in around the house.
Have a wonderful new year!
Happy New Year, Jann!
Enjoy viewing the snow from inside and keep warm!
Your home looks so lovely and cozy, I want to move in! :)

Hi Jan, Happy New Year! I am so glad you are not going straight to Valentines. The salute to winter is much appreciated. Everything looks wonderful. I will leave a lot of my snowy and icy decor foe a couple more weeks too.

Hi Jan!! Happy New Year! Love al your Christmas decor and I was wondering what your "winter" wreath was made from.....I love how it looks old and antique. Would love to make one for myself! Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks!
Hi Dear Jann,
Beautiful pictures ... I also love deer ornaments. They are lovely with small trees.
Big hug from Brazil,
Nanda.
Hey there Miss Jann I really like the Winter theme going on!! And especially the pine cone dishes. I bet though you will get sick of it soon!! LOL We finally got some snow here in Michigan overnight and today but freezing rain on the way. I have a few deer out like you but I kinda just wanna fix up the house and make it pretty and maybe I'll put a few things out for Valentine's Day. Stay warm!! XOXO Love Fran.
Love all your snippets of winter. I am still wallowing in Christmas. I can't seem to get myself organized or started or something.
Hi Jann, you home is beautiful. I love the wreath made out of paper. Is it newspaper? I love winter living in Bountiful Utah with all the snow is so perfect for me. I see that you live in Alpine UT it is so beautiful there. I get cut my Christmas tree there and visit the candy factory. Fun things to do.
Have a lovely weekend.Jo
winter is my least favorite season, so i pretty much ignore it:) love the glittery winter whites, and the more colorful vignettes!
Jann,
January needs some sparkle and I love your touches, especially the snowflakes hanging from the mantle and the deer! I'm much more into winter decorating then Valentines. Every thing looks so inviting and cozy!
