Love at Home. . .

Hello my friends,
well today is the big 'V' day!

I know that not everyone loves Valentines Day, but it happens to be one of my favorite holidays.

It might have to do with the fact that one of my babies was born on this LOVEly day.  He barely made it in time, born just a few minutes before midnight, but he has always been a delight and a 'sweetheart' of a son!

I know that we should show love each and every day, but a little extra attention for one day, can't hurt, right?

Thought I would share some of the things I "LOVE' at home.

I have a bit of a polka dot fetish.  :)

Sometimes the back of a quilt is just as pretty as the front.

Another one of my favorite things is wool.  Love working with it almost as much as I love how it looks!

I love making spoolies,

sipping tea,

birds and trees!

I call this my little Valentines cottage in the middle of the woods.

I love trying my hand at Pinterest inspired crafts,

and getting inspiration from friends.

( I first saw the idea of the bike wheel from Carlene at Organized Clutter)

I love playing with my finds from thrift stores and vintage flea markets.

(the rustic aqua childs t.v. tray is one of my recent flea market finds)

I love making quilts,

decorating for holidays,

and dishes!

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the things I LOVE at home!

Happy Valentines Day!

hugs,
Jann

enjoyed your Valentine decorations. I don't decorate usually because most store-bought Valentines decor looks too cheap, but I wish I'd thought of a few of the unique decorations you did. Especially liked using the quilts in your decor and the brush trees were really cute too.

I tell you Jann! I want to be your in person girlfriend so badly! You are SOOOOO creative and fun! Do you ever stop? I don't think you ever stop. Your displays are really cute. I want to tell you about my pink ceramic dolls. Most were $1 or less. The Dutch girl was $15. Hubs bought that for me because he is Dutch. The huge one was $8 at the thrift but I think she is worth quite a bit. I call these little dolls God smooches. They come from His heart to mine. I just know it. I used to garage sale every weekend when I lived in the desert. It's hard to find cute loot and treasures up here in the mountains. But, yesterday I found to old broken dirty Nancy Ann dolls! That was a God Smooch! Have great Valentine's Day. You are really treasured out here in the blogging world. Your posts brigten my days!

I LOVE all your LOVEly things! :-) What a clever idea for displaying valentines! Some of those "vintage" cards I'm seeing around Blogland are a little too close to ones I exchanged as a kid...Ha!

Have a very happy Valentine's Day!

We have a common love of polka dots . . . especial red and white :) I had to pin your bicycle wheel . . . I love that. Last fall I was going to put one of my old bikes out by the road with a free sign on it, but then my husband asked if he could have it. He is planing on using the chain and back wheel section to build a rotisserie for one of his barbecues. That leaves the front wheel for me . . . so thank you for the inspiration. Oh, I love your sweet quilts, too.
Have a happy week,
Connie :)
