No my friends, I am not celebrating a bust enhancement, but rather a fabulous birthday celebration. :)
I've mentioned before that I am a member of a craft group that celebrates each others birthdays with a delicious dinner.
That's the first D-delicious.
The second D comes in to play with the word D-Dutch.
Joanne is always the genius behind these gorgeous tablescapes. She did it the first time and loved it so much that she continues to do it each time.
Karen planted the silver trays with the Dutch spring bulbs and wheat grass.
When I walked in and saw this gorgeous table I felt as though I was vacationing in Holland.
Joanne plans months ahead and brought the Dutch shoe planters back from a trip to Amsterdam last fall.
We each got to take one home.
Her gorgeous flo blue plates were layered with glass and assorted hand painted floral plates. They all sit atop a moss mat and
white chargers.
Laura was the birthday girl and a crown was waiting to adorn
her head.
Jacqueline hosted the celebration in her beautiful home and served us up a yummy and pretty appetizer.
Natalie brought all of the fixins for refreshing Italian sodas.
I snapped a photo of the salad, which I provided but somehow missed getting one of the delicious eggplant parmesan made
by Brenda.
And of course, the cake.
Too pretty for words!!
(created by the amazing Amy)
The entire table was gorgeous and these last two photos were snapped at what Jackie called the 'blue hour'.
Oh what a Double D delightful night!
(Jackie, me, Karen, Joanne, Natalie, Brenda, Laura, Amy)

Jann

Wonderful. Happy birthday! Everything looked double D delicious!
How much fun! My Mom had a group of friends and they had a "Friday Lunch Bunch". One Friday each month, they met for lunch and always had so much fun. Mom's been gone 13 years now and the majority of the girls were much younger than her and are to this day, great friends of mine.
Such a tradition that will become precious memories.
