Share Your Cup #256

Hello and welcome to Share Your Cup, (SYC for short).

The party where you share what makes you happy.

It's what I call, "filling your cup"

Yesterday I had a very good reminder of how important it is to be happy and enjoy life.

My niece, only 57 years old died unexpectantly.

It was a huge shock and she was such a help to her mom, my oldest sister.  She will be greatly missed!

We never know when it might be our last day on this earth.  Be happy and spread happiness wherever you go!

Now on a happier note.  I had to have a physical to go to girls camp with the youth.  They did a bone density test and said mine was excellent.  One of the highest she had seen.

I might be old, but I've got good bones!!  :)

I'm starting the party a bit early.  I'm headed out the door to be with my sister.

Last week I shared a bit about the

and how we can be a bit critical when looking at our own gardens in

Now for the features of SYC #255:

Jane from Change Everything shared her festive 4th of July table.  I love the stacked stars and fun napkins!

Melissa from Welsh Design Studio added a fabulous faux wood beam to her kitchen.  You must go read what it's made out of!

Thelma's Days shared a tea in honor of Canada's 150th birthday.
The shortbread cookies and her strawberry/rhubarb jam look so delicious!

Ann Marie from  Musings of a Vintage Junkie shared the recipe for her yummy blueberry pie.  I just blueberries to give it a try.

Thanks so much for sharing and please grab my button if you were featured.

Aw, I'm so sorry about your niece, Jann! Life is so short and we must spend our time squeezing every bit of happiness out of each day and making others happy. I used to tell my children when they were growing up to live each day as though it was their last. Thank you for hosting.

Blessings,
Sandi

Jann, I did not intend to snub you by not posting a link back, I did not know how to do it. All my technical support (my sons) have moved out so I do not have anyone to ask for help. I will wait until they return and can explain the steps to me.
