One things for sure, I love doors! Especially ones with old chippy paint. Polohouse for favorites on the first is featuring front door décor.
I was excited for this fun party and thought I would show some of my door décor.
I love placing an old door on my front porch. Wonder if anyone is ever not sure which door to enter? lol! For this door I lined a cute metal green planter with moss and filled it with fern and begonias. This pic was taken when I first planted it. By the end of summer it was so full I loved it.
This door is just inside my entry. Here hangs a swag with one of the paper birdhouses I made.
For a while I hung this square moss wreath from my front door.
The found nest had a perfect hole for tying it to the wreath. I filled it with some faux eggs.
Because we used the crackly door that was on my front porch for a shelf in the living room this door now resides in it’s place. I had so much going on out there I felt that a simple Forsythia wreath is all it needed.
I hung this umbrella on my porch for April showers. It’s now May, think I see a change coming.
I dyed the eggs with Rit dye so they would be the color of robins eggs. I am not lucky enough to have chickens. I have seen some beautiful blue and green eggs that some hens lay.
April showers certainly is bringing May flowers!
There you have it, a bit of my door décor.
I would like to leave you with a picture of this door that I fell in love with at the St. George Home Shows. I would love my door to be this color!
This door is so simple, but I love it!
Hugs,
Jann

Jann, I love all you doors! All so creative!
Your doors are wonderful! What a clever decorating feature.
Blessings,
Vee
You do have some great looking doors! I noticed the one just inside your entryway in one of your recent posts & I love it immediately!
Well, just open the door and come on in! But which door? They are all so pretty! Whoever loves these doors must welcome visitors! That is what I would think if I saw all your doors. I really have to say again that I love the door turned into a shelf. I think that a door says many things. I like to change my door decorations up from time to time. But I sure don't have a collection of doors. Although, my house does have an unusually high amount of doors to enter into from the outside. We have 4 all together, and it is not a very large house. Maybe I am thinking of if backwards, and they are just escape routes from the crazy people who live inside of them? I do agree that the simplicity of that big yellow ribbon hanging the simple green wreath on that cool grey door is very pretty!
Blessings,
Susie

Hi I love all your doors especially the pink one. Very clever.
You have so many nice ideas for your doors. I like that last door, too.
I love the umbrella, I'd still come knocking if you left it up past spring and April showers.

Jann, Love the doors! I've picked up a few in the trash and love the old chippy paint on them. I love your square moss wreath and nest, a great look. Thanks for stopping by and if I was a fairy godmother, I'd give everyone a little cottage near a lake. Thanks for sharing, Laura
Beautiful ideas! I just love the doors!
I love your doors! The one on the front porch is beautiful and I really am in love with that yellow chair. It's all so inviting looking. And that narrow door inside -- well that is to die for! I am heading to a large flea market this weekend, note to self: Add "old doors" to the list of things you're looking for!
Hi Jann!
You have so many pretty things to comment on! Where do I even begin? :)
I love the umbrella arrangement with the eggs you dyed. THAT is just too darn sweet.
Your chippy doors are so great for that layering and collected look that I love so much!
I love sitting on those metal vintage lawn chairs too. They are so comfortable and they are good for rocking too~
Thanks so much for linking up today and sharing!

Jann, couldn't you collect something smaller and easier to move around? Ha ha. I can see why you like your doors though. They have character and you've decorated them in such pretty ways. I like the red door but I think my favorite is the stained one. Thank you for linking up to my party.----Shannon
OMGoodness I love your doors especially the old chippy ones! I'm also in love with your vintage metal chairs. I have two and they are the most comfortable chairs we have outside. Thanks for the inspiration and enjoy your day, Gail
I cannot tell you which door I like best. They are all fantastic! I love how you decorate them. You are very creative, and I love how welcoming you have made your home.
