Yes folks, I’ve turned into a bit of a gangsta. Really, I’ve tried to be good, but I found myself hangin out at the hood.
Mt. Hood that is. . .that beautiful mountain that is covered in snow year round.
I wish I could say that I was having some fancy spa treatment and they have found that if you freeze your buns that some of them would chip off. What a blessing that would be for this overly bodacious bottomed woman. lol!
Summer ski school was going on. How fun would that be? Sign me up, I’m still a kid at heart.
We ate lunch at the Timberline lodge. We shared a yummy 3 cheese fondue, Fontina, Rochlette, and Swiss. Then we each had a pork taco, and shared dessert. Well, the huckleberry cheesecake was not worth the $9. Joyce wanted the chocolate truffle molten cake. Talk about putting you over the top.
Below the mountain is the quaint town of Government Camp.
I had to take this picture because my hubby loves to say, “I’ll be your huckleberry” when I ask him to do a honey do?
That’s it folks, except for our quote of the day:
“One can never know what a new road will bring”
Oh and I wanted to mention that we are enjoying 70 and 80 degree weather while our poor families at home are enduring 100 plus degrees. Unusually hot for Utah. So sorry families.
Hugs,
Jann

Oh what fun you gals must be having! We are big Tombstone fans here. And that line is said often...."I'm your huckleberry"
How much longer will you be traveling?

Jann, Are you trying to get me fired!? I have been reading for I don't know how long trying to catch up on your travels. I'm in love with your trip...seriously longing to be all those places you went. I'm so glad you all had such a fun time. It looks wonderful. Thanks for taking so many pictures for us!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and letting me know about your adventures in my neck of the woods! Looks like you had a great time. I read through your Oregon blog posts. I have not ever been to the lavender farm, but plan on going soon with some family that are visiting. You mentioned the Resort at the Mountain in your comment on my blog. I used to work there, along with working at one of the snowboard camps you mentioned in this blog post. I grew up in Welches and the Resort was only a mile from my house :)
Take care, and visit again soon!
