I have loved cloches for a long time and have been collecting them for years.
Imagine my excitement when I discovered that Marty from A Stroll thru Life hosts a cloche link party a couple of times a year.
Saturday I decided it was time to mix things up on my table and create something new.
Of course that meant using at least a cloche or two.
I went with a ‘Summer Sunflower’ theme. As I was anticipating what to use on the table I remembered that I had bought this teal burlap runner a while ago and had not had a chance to use it. Perfect, I love yellow and blue together! I bought this sunflower cloche at T.J. Maxx a couple years ago. I really like it, but it’s harder to use a cloche with an image on it. Just a simple sunflower candle will do.
I put the image on the candle at the back of the cloche. That way you see a cute sunflower on both sides of the table.
I have wild sunflowers popping up everywhere in my front yard. I dug this smaller one up and potted it in one of my urns. It is the prettiest lemon yellow color. A couple of sunflower plates to go along with the theme. Remember, give me a theme and I’m one happy gal! See my cute new chandy? It puts me in turquoise heaven!
My second cloche is a large bell shaped one. For this I kept it simple and just picked a couple of heads of the larger sunflowers. I’m thinking I should make a cute tag to hang on it.
Did you notice my amber milk bottle with the yellow flower? I found that at D.I. 3 years ago. I filled it with, yes; more sunflowers.
I hope that my sunny sunflowers brighten your day!
Hugs,
Jann

Blessings,

Sunflowers are one of my very favorite flowers. I have a lot of them here in my kitchen.
I also love to use cloches for decorating. I have a tower of china tea cups stacked underneath one in the living room, and bird nests under a few....I change them up all the time according to the seasons.
: ) XO Kris
This is beautiful. I only have one sunflower but plenty of black eyes susan. You inspire me to make a pretty centerpiece. ^_^

Everything looks better in a cloche! I'm so glad that someone is able to plant sunflowers and enjoy them. I used to plant lots of them, but the squirrels would always end up carrying them away for their own personal little buffet, so I stopped. I really miss those bright, sunny flower faces!
Hi there, first time at your lovely blog! You have some awesome things in your yard! Love all your finds! :) Happy Monday! xx Holly
Good Monday Morning, Jann!
I agree...everything looks twice as pretty under a softly shaped cloche. Your sunny yellow sunflowers are so cheery and bright! I love the softening touch of ribbon you added to your turquoise burlap...Such a nice touch!
I have just a few cloches...I need more with my three little busy body housecats!!
Have a wonderful week, my friend,

Jann,
Your Sunflower Cloche is gorgeous!!! I adore the large bell one with the Sunflower heads inside! That small light hued Sunflower is called "Lemon Ice". They are very difficult to raise here on the Prairie. This year we were so~o~o excited to finally have two bloom; however our arid and drought conditions have taken a toll on the Sunflower Patch On Crooked Creek! Thanks for visiting from Marty's Cloche Party! Have a blessed week!
Fondly,
Pat
I love how you did your centerpiece! Very cute!!

What a nice centerpiece, Jann! The blue and yellow are fabulous together. I love the cheeriness sunflowers give off, don't you? I saw some gorgeous cloches in Old Town Orange last week but they were so pricey! Yikes! Have a great week.
