The other day I was out in the garden and I couldn’t help but notice the variety in the centers of my sunflowers.
All of them just popped up randomly and I have enjoyed them so much!
I thought that you might like a closer look.
This one had lost it’s petals, but it had the biggest head. Oh my, a Sunflower with a big head. lol!
Look closely and you’ll see the visitor in this one.
Now isn’t that just a ray of sunshine? Hope you enjoyed!
hugs,
Jann

Sunflowers are so cheery, aren't they!
I have only had sunflowers one year. The squirrels here chewed all the heads off and dragged them away as soon as they bloomed. They are such happy flowers.
I love sunflowers and so I thank you for this close up look!
hugs,
Linda

Ohhh.....I just love sunflowers! You got some wonderful photos of yours! Thanks for sharing. They did brighten my day.
Oh my... stunning flowers! Do you let them reseed them selves? or do you cut them and bag the seeds for the next year? Also, did you know they have a "pink" sunflower now? I tried it last year, its not truly pink, but does have some varigated pinks in the leaves... I got the package at Walmart for a few bucks ;0)
Beautiful sunflowers Jann ! I think next year I am actually going to plant a row of them in my garden ..Have a great week !

I never noticed that there were so many variations of the centers before! Such happy flowers, I've never had any luck getting them to grow in my gardens, so I finally gave up. One year, however, a bird must have dropped a seed and before we knew it we did have a sunflower growing under a tree! :) --Fran

You can't help but just smile when you see sunflowers!
Glorious! I get lots of little sunflowers sprouting from bird seed mix the sparrows, cardinals and squirrel missed.
I don't think there is hardly a flower that says summer better than a sunflower. Glorious. I don't know why I have never tried to grow them. Perhaps I should. Have a great week. Joining you through What's It Wednesday.
Gorgeous! Thanks for a little floral sunshine.
Thank you for sharing your sunflower images. None of my seeds came up this year.
