Share Your Cup #243

Hello and welcome to Share Your Cup, (SYC for short).

The party where you share what makes you happy.

I'm starting early today because I'm off to. . .you guessed it; get another load of treasures for our upcoming 4th estate sale.

This has kept me ever so busy, but the junker in me is loving it!  I'm trying to be good and not buy a lot.
However, sometimes I just can't resist!  Especially if it's left over at the end.  :)
I'll be sharing what I have purchased so far in an upcoming post.

Yesterday I had the fun opportunity to do a live video for
Hometalk  I watched it afterwards and had to laugh.  I was kind of a goof, stumbling over the word patriotism.  Also, I should have sped it up a little.  I've never done anything like this before, but I had fun and Jordan was a jewel to work with!

Last week I shared some of my Easter décor in

and. . .

Easter will be here before we know it.  I don't want spring
 to whizz by!

Now for the features from SYC #242:

Lina from Sew Historically shared her beautifully natural dyed eggs.  I've done this before, but didn't have nearly as many gorgeous colors as she came up with!

Florence from Vintage Southern Picks gave a found birdcage a makeover and created a sweet Easter vignette inside.

I absolutely adore this Spring display by Kathryn from

Fjolla's Table shared the sweetest little snowdrops in lace trimmed jars picked from her garden.

Sharon from Blue Willow House shared some of her favorite things that she never passes up at thrift stores.  Her and I love many of the same things.

Carol from Comfort Spring shared the recipe for a delicious Asparagus &Tomato Quiche.

Thanks so much for sharing and please grab my button if you were featured.

Now let's party!

1.  I would love for you to be a follower of Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson
2.  Link up a particular post and not your entire blog. Please limit your links to no more than three.
3.  Please have a back link to this post.  That way others will know where the party is.
Only those with a back link will be featured.
 4.  Please find time to visit at least two other participants.
It's a great way to find new friends!

After you link up, please come back and leave a comment.  They help to fill my cup!

Hi Jann, I watched your video and it was wonderful. Love the ice chest, it makes me want to go on a picnic and it's prefect for summer. Great Job! I wouldn't worry at all about stumbling with your words, it had to be a bit nerve-racking, but you gave it a real homey feel. You're the best.
Now on to see what some of your blogging sisters shared.
Have a marvelous day.
Connie :)

Loved your Hometalk video, Jann! You already have 64K views! :) So many great tips... and a real treat to hear your voice, Jann! It might also be fun to stencil on a vintage metal serving tray or the wooden lid of a picnic basket. A checkerboard might be a fun design, too! Thanks for sharing so many creative ideas! ♡

Hi Jann, thanks for hosting the party!
I loved your post about the three-tiered tray. It is interesting to read about the stories behind the items that you displayed. I was especially fascinated by the sugar egg. I have only seen one before on another blog. They are so charming. I want to do some research on them to find out more about their history. I wonder if they are still made nowadays? Haven't seen one yet, but I don't go often to stores to buy sweets.
Warm regards,
Christina

The tiered tray is fabulous...very well done! What makes me happy is having heat in my bedroom and being able to sleep in my own bed. It's been a long three months and a bedroom at 47 degrees F isn't conducive to restful sleep.
Later this week, I'm headed to the county library so I can watch your video.
