Tray Full of Trinkets and a Hometalk Video Opportunity

Hello my friends,
I've always had a weakness for trinkets, how about you?  Often I spy little things in a thrift or antique shop that just
"make me happy"

My tiered tray, which was gifted to me by my sweet friend, Ann is the ideal place for me to display them.

It's so fun tucking them in here and there.  Cabbages and carrots fill in the void spaces.

I laughed when I noticed in this photo that the fluffy duck has a feather in his mouth.

Let's take a closer look. . .

I found two of the pink bunny candles at a thrift shop.  They had never been opened.

The little bowls are the Gooseberry pattern by Pyrex.  Perfect for a small bowl of fruit and yogurt.

I was thrilled when I spied the little ceramic duck pulling the cart on the seasonal shelf at the same thrift.

This little guy looks stellar in his aqua hat.  I ran across him while gathering treasures at the home that I have been hosting estate sales for.  Obviously he was, "NOT for sale"!  (wink)

Two photos, yup; I love him!!

Isn't this guy just ducky?  Anther thrift find.  He is handmade.  I'm afraid this might be his last year.  I dropped him accidently the other day and cracked his neck.  :(

The sugar egg was another, "never been opened" find.

I found this sweet creamer a few years ago.  It holds tarnished silver for now.  I love the tarnished look!

This aqua Fenton set was scored at an estate sale about 7 years ago.  It once belonged to a dear woman that was one of my favorite church leaders as a youth.  The worn yellow duck was another thing I couldn't resist from the estate sale I am helping with.  Only a drop of orange left on it's beak, but I still love him!

I hope you enjoyed a peek into my tray full of trinkets!

Now I want to share a fun opportunity that I will be doing Tues. April 4th.

Hometalk has asked me to participate in a live fb video.

I've never done anything like this before, so wish me luck!  :)
I'd love for you to hop over and check it out if you can.  And please, don't be afraid to comment!
You'll be eligible for their give away if you do.

hugs,
Jann

First of all, I love your arrangement -- all the little touches are perfect and it's so cheerful!

Now, will you be able to post a link to your video after it is over? I won't be able to watch today -- my computer tech is coming at 5 or a little before to help me with a few techie things. But I'd love to see it. So please share if it is posted on an archived site!

Cute displaying. I have not been buying small items much at all as trying to conserve and save. I think I have enough trinkets now anyways. I do occasionally find one that really touches me and get it, but slowed down a lot.
