Where There is a Will. . .There is a Way!

Hi folks,  today while at home working on my lamp shade I have been anticipating the birth of our 9th grandchild.

Baby Will, (short for William) should be arriving shortly.  Mom and daddy are at the hospital now.

I thought I would share with you his Woodland where he will lay his precious little head.

He’ll never be alone because all of his woodland friends will be close by.

He’ll sleep peacefully under the shade of a big oak tree.

His mom and dad showed me a picture of a large vinyl tree that they had seen on the internet.  I told them that I could paint that on the wall for them if they would like.

I can tell that I have not painted for a long time because my hand was not nearly as steady as it use to be.

However mom and dad were quite pleased.  That’s all that matters.  They hung three shelves among the branches.

More woodland animals.

Look at these funky mushrooms we found at Star Mill Antiques.

His mom painted this canvas grouping and then applied the cute vinyls.

Daddy told me that they want to hang a branch with an owl in it in this corner by his crib.

This little shelf houses a wolf figurine collection that belonged to his mother.

Who Whooo thinks little Will is going to like his room?

Just thought you might like to know that this was our previous home that our youngest son bought from us.  This room was my craft room and was painted a pale aqua color.  I love the two tone green.

I am working on something else for the arrival of our little guy hope to show you soon.

Just wanted to share this sweet pic of mama and baby Will.  Taken just shortly after he was born, July 27th at 8:34 p.m. 6 lbs. 10 oz. 18.5 inches.

So happy to have him here!

What a wonderful gift for your grandchild William! Just think of how it will entertain him when he wakes from his sleep to see his favorite tree. I'm sure all of his woodland friends will keep him company as he sleeps. Congratulations, I know you must be very excited as you wait………

Such a precious room! I love the way they hung shelves among the branches of your tree. I painted a tree on Grandson #1's wall too. We grandmothers will do just about anything for our precious kiddos, won't we?

So sweet! You did a wonderful job on that cute little tree. I offered to paint a tree in my new grand baby's room which will have to wait until they move. Woodland themes are so adorable for little ones.
