Winter Sparkle. . .

Hello my friends,
and happy winter!!

I love the magic and beautiful lights of Christmas, but it always feels good to get things cleaned up and be a bit back to normal.

Hopping into Easter. . .

Hello my friends, and welcome spring!

Don't you just love this time of year?  Spring has always been my favorite season.  I think it has a lot to do with the awakening of so much beauty after a long cold winter.

Amber from Follow the Yellow Brick Home has been such a blessing in my life!  She has kept me blogging.  I often think I'll do a post, but then the lack of energy wins and it doesn't happen.  A big thank you to her for inviting me to participate in this Easter blog hop!

Sweet Christmas Snippets Mantle

Hello my dear friends!

I am healing more each day and slow but surely getting Christmas décor out.  My oldest daughter, Nichole helped me decorate our family room mantle.

As long as I can remember I have had a sweet tooth.  I decided to embrace it with the gifts of this holiday season.

Silly Black Cats. . .

Hello my friends, and happy October.

October is the perfect month for asking, "how do you feel about cats?"  Do you love them or do you want to shoo them away and say, "scat"?

Officially Fall Home Tour

Hello my friends,
today is officially the first day of fall.

Although, I started decorating for fall the first part of September,
I decided that I would share it with you before it all goes away.  :)

Yes, next weekend I will be switching over to Halloween.  I'm so excited, because last year we were in the process of getting new hardwood floors, so I didn't decorate for Halloween.
I missed my cute little spooks!

Did I Overdo the Red, White, and Blue?

Walk into our home in the summertime and it's obvious
that we are patriotic.

But the question I sometimes ask myself is, "did I overdo the
 red, white, and blue"?

Patriotic Pink

Hello my friends,

I know what you're thinking. . .pink is not a patriotic color.  Normally, I would agree with you, but somehow; it works!

BEE Still My Heart!

Hello my friends,
Have you ever had a moment when you felt like the stars aligned and angels were singing because you found something that you knew was just perfect!

That's what happened to me and I'm so excited to share it with you!

Just BEEcause. . .

Hello my friends,

I thought I would share my latest tablescape with you. . .
just BEEcause.  (wink)

Spreading Easter Joy with Vintage Vignettes

 Hello my friends,

I am so happy to be joining 11 other talented bloggers that will be sharing our love for vintage.

These cast iron flower basket door stops are one of my favorite collections.  I was inspired by my cute friend, Joanne to collect them.  In fact, she found 2 of the 3 for me.

I bought the bunny for $5 at an antique store in Texas and found the little cart at a thrift shop for $1.  The chicks beaks were all chipped.  a little paint fixed them right up!

Playing with Plants and Purple Planters. . .

Hello my friends,
Happy St. Patty's Day!

We arrived home last Tuesday afternoon about 4:00 after our almost two week road trip to Texas.  Surprisingly,  we were greeted with lovely 60 degree weather.

Knowing that we would need to stop and buy milk I suggested we go to Wal-mart.

I had an alternative motive.  :)  They just happen to have a garden center as well.

The next day I found myself playing with plants and purple planters.  (Say that three times fast) lol!

Village Peeps. . .

Hello my friends,

Spring is only a week away and I wanted to share some of my new village peeps with you.

Last year I created three glitter Easter houses.  I've found a few new peeps that are now hanging around town.
