Hello and welcome to candyLand!
Didn’t you love playing that game as a child?
If you’ve read my last few posts then you know that there’s a whole lot of Sugar and Spice going on over here at my house.
We certainly couldn’t forget the tree. Last year I bought a new 9 1/2 ft. slim tree for my family room. It was decorated with my birds and mercury glass ornaments. This year I switched that to the living room and the family room and kitchen have officially became ‘Candyland’.
We Have gingerbread men and gumdrops…
Peppermints and cookies. . .
I bought the ribbon new this year. Notice how it has both lime and kelly green? I Thought that was kind of fun.
A few houses, cupcakes, and candy canes. . .
Even an ice cream cone. . .
Some baking tins. . .
A few goodies under the tree.
Put em all together and what do you get? A ‘candyland’ tree!
Now we just need some presents and the grandies will Think it’s ever so ‘sweet’!
Wishing you a ‘Sugar and Spicey Sweet’ Christmas!
Jann

I think "Candyland Christmas Tree" is certainly the perfect name - very cute!
I am literally drooling over your tree - lol! It is lovely :)
Jann,
Your candyland tree is delightful. What a great idea. I love the gingerbread man and candy canes on there. I just made a small fairy tree myself because I love fairies. It looks like you are enjoying the Christmas season.

Oooh Jann, too sweet!... I just love your candyland tree and all the things that go with it... you make everything so fun for your family!... (and for all of us too in blogland that get to see it!)... xoxo Julie Marie
Smiles for all that gingerbread stuff. Don't you love that skinny tree? I like mine fine. it's not as tall as yours. I have to use all my old things from when my girls were small. One year I did a huge victorian tree...I had the blues from missing all the old things my daughters would hang on the tree. So it was back to my old tree and things.xoxo, Susie
Your candie land tree is just too cute!! I bet the kids just love it!
What a sweet tree, Jann! I LOVED Candyland when I was a kid.

Your tree is so cute! My sister puts up a candy tree too. I love how you added some goodies under the tree as well.
Hi Jann,
Oh it is so sweet...Those drapes in the background are so pretty. Your home is looking very decked out for the Holidays!
All the Best,

Oh, this is so pretty and fun! I like the tall slender tree, too! It looks perfect in your home! Hugs!
Oh what a cute candyland tree! It must have been so much fun collecting the ornaments and decorating the tree. Your grandkids will love it!

Hi! My Candyland/Gingerbread tree in my kitchen is my favorite tree. I keep saying I will do a different theme, but I love all those "sweets" without any calories! Needless to say...I absolutely love your tree! It looks delicious! =D
What a fun tree for your grandchildren! My favorite are the sparkly gumdrops :-)
What a fun theme! Your tree is gorgeous.
I love the Candyland theme. It is just darling and the grandkids are going to LOVE it! I love the fantasy that Christmas allows us to keep, don't you? xo Diana
What a great idea! Fabulous theme! That tree is just too adorable!
Hi Jann. I am here to catch up, and see that I have missed a lot!!! Love your candy land tree! So sweet!!! I bought a tall skinny tree like that a few years ago, and I love it. It fits the space in our living room so much better than the big fat trees we have had in the past. This year, for the first time since losing my father, I was able to open up my box of ornaments that we have been collecting for the 33 years we have been married. So many are gifts from my Dad, who always called me mouse. I collected mice, mostly from him, and I have many mouse ornaments. My tree is loaded full this year, and I think my Dad is smiling in heaven.
LOVED your tribute post to your inlaws. I too share your love or farmhouse style! So many pretty things you posted!! And then before that one too....love the sweets and things!!!
I have been so darn busy. But I am trying to rest up and catch up!!
Hugs,
Kris

Jann, your Candyland tree is really cute! I'm sure the little ones will love it. I know I do! Thanks for sharing this at my hOME and also for praying for my son. He's been through quite an ordeal. Have a lovely weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
What a lovely tree, decorated so sweetly! And despite being laden with such tempting treats, the tree is able to keep its slim figure ;)
