Share Your Cup #240

Hello my friends,
sorry for the late start to Share Your Cup, (SYC for short).

Hubby and I took off on a whim after church Sunday and headed to sunny California.

We heard on the news that the wildflowers in Anza Borrego Desert State Park were breathtaking this year because of all the rain they have received.  It's what they call, a "Super Bloom".

We have been traveling back towards home today and just got to our hotel and connected to Wifi.

Needless to say, that there will be no features this week.  Sometimes the open road is calling!  :)

Looking forward to seeing what made you happy this week.  Sorry for those who are experiencing harsh winter weather. It was warmer than usual at the desert park.  We soon found that 91 degrees was a bit too hot for hiking.
The wildflowers were beautiful and I'll be sharing them with you soon!

This week it's been nothing but sunshine and flowers
for hubby and I.  Certainly has made us happy!

Here we are feeling a little bit like a 'flower child' sitting amongst the booms.

Last week I found myself Springing Out Onto the Porch
I hear that we are having warm 70 plus temps and I hope it continues next week.  I would love to spend more time
in the garden!

Now let's see what you have to share!

Now let's party!

1.  I would love for you to be a follower of Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson
2.  Link up a particular post and not your entire blog. Please limit your links to no more than three.
3.  Please have a back link to this post.  That way others will know where the party is.
Only those with a back link will be featured.
 4.  Please find time to visit at least two other participants.
It's a great way to find new friends!

After you link up, please come back and leave a comment.  They help to fill my cup!

Good afternoon, Jann! Those blossoms are gorgeous! I have also heard of the super bloom in the desert this year, but alas, we are just too busy to go down to see it. A well, I will enjoy seeing your pictures when you post them. Thank you for hosting the blog party. As always, have a great weekend!

I think that it is wonderful that you can just jump and go on an adventure . . . and what a lovely spot. Ninety-one degrees, he probably would have had a hard time getting me back in the car to head home, LOL. I can barely wait for sunshine and warm weather :)
Keep Smiling!
Connie :)

Hi Jann, I was so excited to read that you came to "my state" and visited the Anza Borrego Desert State Park. We haven't been there, but I have also heard that the wildflower blooms is nothing short but spectacular this week. Hope you had a wonderful time in Southern California.
And as always thank for faithfully hosting your blog party, despite the fact that you are traveling!
Warm regards,
Christina

Oh Jann, I love that you two took off for CA! I'd been seeing posts from friends indicating it was imminently near. I hope you'll share all that you experienced.
Sharing a fun bridal shower Breakfast at Tiffany's theme we pulled off for my niece today and all the little details.
Have a great week ending, and thank you for sponsoring the party here.

I don't blame you one bit for taking off and feeling the wind through your hair and the sunshine on your skin and enjoying all the wildflowers! The bluebonnets are blooming in Texas and I am feeling your sense of wanderlust too. Enjoy!!

Steve and I drove out to the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve today and we were disappointed. As we paid our entrance, the ranger told us that the poppies were just opening and the hills will be orange in two weeks so we're going to head back.

Jann, what a gorgeous trip you took among the wildflowers. And such beautiful weather. It got nicer here today, but where I live we've had record rainfall for weeks. So I was pretty jealous looking at your photos! Thanks for hosting another lovely party.
