Treasures and Trinkets Tuesday #5

Hello my friends,
welcome to where I share my recent found treasures.

This weeks post is all about trinkets, Halloween trinkets.

But before I begin, OH MY!!  Can I just say how much I appreciate the comments of encouragement and love in my previous post!
The Boobless Boob  You have helped to build my faith and confidence in facing this journey ahead of me!!

I feel a deep love and connection with so many of you!!

Now for some fun!!  We are going to make a Halloween wreath in our September craft group.  I have been gathering fun little trinkets to go on mine.  Some I've had for a long time, but the majority are new found treasures.

Let's take a closer look, shall we?

The fun Black Cat card was gifted to me last year.  I bought the pumpkin cupcake picks off of Instagram last year as well.  Funny thing, I remember putting ones just like this on my kids cupcakes.  :) The salve tin, #'s 31, and the darling little pumpkin guy came from Aunt Bunnies estate.  The sale I have been helping with.  Can you believe that we just hosted our 8th sale last week?  The gears were left over after the sale.  I thought they might be a fun addition.  I picked up the ghost cookie cutter
at a thrift shop last week.

I loved this little Star Watch Case Co. tag from the estate as well.  I just happened to have the perfect sparkly black star.  (wink)

I've had the horn and noise maker for a long time.  Years ago I bought just a couple things off of Ebay.

I bought a bundle of these reflectors from a gal on Vintage Yard Sale Utah for $4.  I actually met her while standing in line at an estate sale and we made a connection.  She now comes to mine.

My friend, Dolly found the skelly earrings and the darling (my fav) little pumpkin man when we were sorting for the sale.  she squealed with delight for me!!

I picked the owl shakers up at an estate sale last year.  The treat bag and pumpkin box are thrift finds.

More thrift finds.  The batman mask, and Happy Halloween sign.  Notice the tiny little orange bird.  Love it!!  I have a bagful of the skelly heads.  They and the sparkly bat are from the Dollar Store.

Another single owl shaker, a cat on a honeycomb pumpkin, and a pumpkin spice tin all thrift finds.  The whistle was another score from our estate sale. The crow clip was marked way down at a store after Halloween last year because he is missing his tail.  I will add something shiny.

Lastly, a rusty spring, a plastic eyeball, and some old dice.

I have a form and a few ornaments that will complete the wreath, but still on the look out for more.

Can't wait to create!!

hugs,
Jann

Love all your Halloween treasures. I've saved every magazine article and photos of the olden Halloween decor like you've shown. Don't know why, but the old stuff is much more attractive than most of today's stuff.

Our frame of mind makes all the difference in the world, so stay in that good place. sometimes it's hard to stay positive and keep our Faith in getting through it all. keeping you in my prayers, Jann!
