Heavenly Hibiscus!

Tomorrow is Pink Saturday at ‘How Sweet the Sound”.

Thought I would share my Pink Hibiscus.

I have three hibiscus.   One is on the South, one on the West, and this is on the East.

This one is three times as large as the other two.  It definitely likes that afternoon shade.

I will leave you with one of my ‘Pink’ quilts that I showed at our “Kennel Girls” Quilt show today.

The name of this quilt is “Heart to Heart”.

So I hope you enjoy it.  From my heart to yours!

Oh my goodness, Jann! Its BEAUTIFUL...both the flower AND that gorgeous quilt! GREAT JOB!

We were married on Valentines Day...it will be 25 yrs. next year...so I'm partial to anything with hearts on it.

Hi there! I have two hibiscus and they rarely bloom for me!!! Could be too hot and dry here. That quilt is beautiful. I have a lot of that floral fabric that your border is in. I have made several things with it, and I love it!!!

What a beautiful quilt--love the scalloped edges.
The flower is pretty, too. You are really in the pink today. :)

Hi Jann,

Lovely quilt, so sweet and romantic! Of course I think that scalloped border is now one of my favorites... The hibiscus is just beautiful too!
Keep them coming...love your quilts! What quilt project are you currently working on? I know there is probably more than one or two...?
Have a great weekend!

I love this quilt and seeing it brings back memories of when you were working on it. The scallop and border, frames all the darling hearts and really pops them. I was sad I missed the quilt show, I couldn't leave work, they really piled it on me because I hadn't been there for so long. The hibiscus is exquisite! You so amaze me. I heart Jann.

I am so delighted to see your quilt (and your sister's too). What wonderful heirlooms you have created. My MIL and her sister (I like to call her my AIL - auntie in law) are both quilters. I have three from auntie and two from MIL. Love them!

I have been busy catching up with all your garden posts and other posts. Such a fun event.

So pink and pretty! We also have hibiscus in the Philippines but the more dominant colors here are red and a bit of fuschia. We rarely have pink.
