Won’t you join me this morning for a stroll thru the Garden?
Each day brings me new joy with each delightful new bloom.
This Iris that I purchased at a home of a woman who had a sign out on the street advertising that she was selling Day Lilies surprised me with it’s first bloom. I love the peach and lavender combination. It is kissed with water drops from this mornings sprinklers.
The Hellebores have been blooming for quite some time. I have three different colors in my shade garden. This plant is one that I had never planted before until I moved to this home. It is so unique.
Sea Thrift, volunteer Snapdragons, Brunnera, Nepetia, Sweet Woodruff, and dwarf Lilac
The bloom of the variegated Iris isn’t as large, but I love the foilage.
Chives in the Herb garden
I love the purple of the Lilac next to the sweet blooms of my Bleeding Heart.
Yard art adds interest among perennials. Jupiters Beard is happy to reside by my cute teapot birdfeeder.
The blooms of Mtn. Bluet (perennial Bachelors Button) reminds me of a spider.
The flowing whites of the Bridal Wreath bush are one of my favorites.
Tina Crabapple
Mr. Robin greeted me as I walked outside to snap the first picture. He flew off and didn’t join me for the tour.
Sure hope you decided to stay. To all you mothers and future mothers out there, these buds are for you! Have a wonderful Mothers Day!
Hugs,
Jann

Everything looks beautiful. love the color of your new iris and that cute teapot feeder.
A little humor among all the beauty..I love it:) Happy Mom's Day Jann...have a peaceful one.
Beautiful flowers, Jann! I also have dwarf lilac, planted in 2008, bloomed profusely (I mean completely covered, see avatar photo) in 2009, and each year less and less and this year NOTHING, I am so disappointed. Any ideas? They are in full sun. xo
Such gorgeous blooms! Happy Mother's Day!
What a beautiful garden! You obviously have a green thumb!!!

You have a wonderful creation of beauties out there. How I wish we also had the space, talent and patience to grow those Hellebores and Lilac. They are indeed beautiful pieces of heaven on earth.
Have a great week!
The colors of the iris are so lovely...that creamy peach and the pale lavender...stunning. I just noticed my chives are ready to bud.
Jann, your flowers look like they are thriving in your garden. The iris is one of my favorites so I'm really liking that pretty peach and lavender one. Your thumb must be very green!!

Thanks for stopping by my post and leaving a sweet comment. Debra
your garden has some beautiful blooms! Love the varieties of Lenten Rose that you have.
What a beautiful garden! That iris is lovely - I've never seen anything quite like it. You are at least two weeks ahead of us!
All the flowers are so lovely, the garden must be beautiful too with so many blooms.
Such lovely mosaics. The irises are very beautiful. One of my favourite flowers. Some weeks to go before mine are blooming......
I just love your pink and lilac iris - I have never seen that colour combination before - it's absolutely stunning and I love the effect of the water drops on it -very clever!
Thanks for the lovely walk thru your garden. Your flowers are beautiful. Beautiful photos, have a great week ahead.
What lovely flowers looking gloriously fresh and new! The herb garden was lovely...mine wasn't too bad until hubbie decided to strim it to make it more tidy!!Liked the robin too! Have a lovely day. Joan
Beautiful garden pictures.

I was reading this last night and dozed off to sleep - not because I was bored - but because I was exhausted from the day's activities! So, I decided to visit you fresh this morning! I loved the walk through your garden. And I am always crazy about the hellebores! I bought some last year and the "helpful" salesman in the garden section of Lowe's told me they were a boring plant because they didn't have any color. Since I was not interested in his unsolicited advice, I put 2 of them in my cart and walked on. Unfortunately, they didn't do well where I planted them, so I have to get more this year if I can find them!
I enjoyed all of these pictures, your garden is just lovely! Love the teapot birdfeeder!
Love the bridal wreath bush! Mine has already bloomed, but look forward to it every spring, they are just lovely! Enjoyed my visit this morning!
Love your garden tour. Wish i could come and join you and talk gardens with you! Spring is such a glorious season. Have a great week outdoors!
Nancy
I really love the Iris and Mtn. Bluet. I miss the Robins -- we only see them twice a year as they pass through. I think they're gorgeous birds.

Your garden in beautiful Jann. I love the two toned iris. Seems the pretty pastel colors are harder to find these days. Love that picture with your bleeding hard too. Hope you have a wonderful week!
