Share Your Cup Thursday #49

Good morning my friends and welcome to Share Your Cup.  Happy to have you share what ever it is that makes you happy.

I must confess that two things that give me great happiness are the reason for my late party.  Yesterday I still had a few links that I had not visited yet from last weeks SYC.  I went to lunch with three of my besties and thought that I would visit and do my post when I got home.

Alas, the temps were in the 60’s and this gardening gal could not bear to miss the opportunity to spend time in the garden.  Dirty hands bring me delight.  My sweet friend, Carolynn from Chenille Cottage knows me too well.  She knew my exact reason for being late.

Hmmmmmm......Could it be that you are knee deep in potting soil and peat moss? I hope you're getting lots done in your beautiful garden today.
Hugs....See you tomorrow at SYC!

Blame my tardiness on friends and gardening.  Excuses, excuses!  I do appreciate you putting up with me!

I’m also working on a give away for SYC’s 1st birthday.  Thought I would be ready to show it today, but again the garden.  Geez, it’s as bad as “the dog ate my homework” excuse.

On to the features from SYC #48

Many of you know how I am loving the farmhouse style.  Diane from Design Till it Shines showed us the pretty side of hers.

Kristy Girl shared her darling vintage kitchen cupboard. Notice how it matches her cats eyes?

What a great makeover of this vintage desk by Restoration Redoux!

I love when someone creates something out of ‘junk’.  Denise on a Whim created a fun message center out of an old crate lid.

Patricia from Old Things New shared how she was dreaming of Spring.  Lots of eye candy in this post.  Love her rosette wreath!

4-Spring & St Patti's 011

One last feature to get you in the mood for Easter.  I really do not like Peeps, but how cute are these eggs by Southern Blue Celebrations?  Think I’d have to try at least one.  The Peep lovers in your home will gobble them down.

Thanks so much for sharing.  Please grab my button if you were featured.

A few rules and then let the fun begin!

1. I would love for you to be a follower of Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson.
2. Link up a particular post and not your entire blog. Please limit your links to no more than three.
3. Please have a link back to this post. That way others will know where the party is. Feel free to grab my button on the sidebar if you’d like. Only those with links back will be featured.
4. Please find time to visit at least a few other participants. It’s a great way to find new blogs

After you link up please come back and leave a comment. They help to fill my cup.

Now I would like to take a moment to thank a couple of people for featuring me recently.  Hope in Every Season featured my Childs Chevron Table and Cupboard and  Lavender Garden Cottage featured my Faux vs Snow post at her Cottage party last week.  Thanks ladies!

Hello Gardening Gal!
Somehow I just had a hunch that you'd be outside enjoying the sunshine and getting your garden ready for Spring. Tee Hee!!

I love the special features you have chosen this week. Each one has such dreamy soft colors.

I had to chuckle about the dog eating your homework, Jann. Would you believe my cat ate my tiny wool felted Easter eggs. I've been working on my Swap Pretties...and, three of them disappeared. My poor kitty coughed up hairballs all afternoon!

Have a wonderful day, my dear friend and a Happy St. Patty's Day, too!
Blessings,
Carolynn xoxo

Well sweet lady, it's your blog and you can call the shots. If you need to be outside working, we give you permission. I really like what you chose to highlight this week. I need some courage in furniture painting right now so this will help. Take care and have a good week.

Jann, You lucky gal gardening already!!! The ground is still semi frozen here and we had a nowhere dusting of snow yesterday. I have garden fever really bad but will have to wait a few more weeks. Beautiful features from last week. Thanks so much for hosting, Laura
