A crystal iced tree pulled from the living room mantel brings the beauty of Winter indoors.
While outside Mother Nature has worked her magic on just about everything! Even the urns on the porch have been given her beautiful touch.
The gilded pumpkins, pinecones, and boughs couldn’t look lovelier.
Snow continues to fall from the chandelier,
Onto the table below.
A blanket of snowflakes have formed and dressed the table up nicely.
While snowman dishes come out and play!
My snowman made from leather is happy to stay out a while longer.
Now and then I have to stick him outside to keep from melting. lol!
I realize that not everyone loves the snow. And the older I get, I myself do not look forward to the cold.
But here in UT it truly is a gift from God!
It’s what makes our gardens lovely and grass so green during the summer months.
After a couple of weeks of record breaking warm temps the snow was definitely a welcome sight.
Plus, the Olson’s Christmas Cottage wouldn’t be quite as fun without it!
Building a snowman, large or small is the delight of every child.
(our little Saydee with her princess snowman)
Nothing quite like blue sky against white snow!
Wishing you all a Wonderful New Year!
hugs,
Jann

Looks like you got a little more snow than we did - made me so happy to have a White Christmas!
Lovin seeing your snow. No snow here yesterday it was almost 60 here in Chicagoland. Today very cold but still no snow. I know it will be coming our way. Enjoy they pretty white.

You were about the only ones...the west and upper North but the midwest and out east...nada! Lucky you! Your decorations are simply precious and I love the "ice" tree and chandelier. I also really like your ladder outside with the lanterns hanging from it. I have an old ladder and lanterns...brilliant! Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year to you all. Oh, love Sadie's snow princess too!
I love snow when I can go to it, not necessarily when it comes to me, lol. I am a bit of a worrier, so I dread snow piling on roofs & walks and the damage it can do, but it is so beautiful. Believe it or not, I was outside taking down some decor today, and my daffodils are pushing through the mulch around my pansies! Now that's just not right! The garden is supposef to be sleeping! Love your table, enjoy the snow!
I LOVE snow. It is 50 degrees here in Ohio....no snow!
I don't want to live in the snow, but I love to ski so I welcome it.
I love your snowman theme.
All my "Christmas" is down, but nothing else is in its place. I have to figure out what our next look will be.
Jann,
I am one who loathes the snow, but I'll admit: if I could have just a beautiful new-fallen snow on Christmas Day and palm trees and heat the rest of the year, I'm a happy, HaPpY, HAPPY girl!
Yes, drought you certainly don't need in Utah! It's amazing how a snowy winter's day helps spring's beauty.
Happy New Year to you,
Kelley~
Jann, My daughter said there was snow out your way. Remember my g.son is in SLC. I love your snowman dishes. So cute. Hope you get to enjoy them. Stay warm and safe. xoxo,Susie
Wish we would get some snow Jann ! You lucky duck :) I shouldn't have written that because now we will be burried in it :) Love your dishes ! I have them too !
Love seeing your snow. We didn't get any on Christmas this year...feels more like Spring than Winter here in Ohio.

Plenty of snow to build a real snowperson. '-)
It's cold and damp here but no snow in the forecast.
The snow looks lovely, inside your home and out, Jann! It was almost 60 degrees here today, highly unusual! It feels more like Easter than Christmas...not that I mind! ;) Happy New Year!

You have snow! I've noticed several areas around the country have but not us in the St. Louis area ... yet. Maybe we'll get some this next weekend.

Your dishes and everything looks great. Love your snow outside, we never get snow in So CA, but it's really cold for us.

I'm amazed we haven't had any snow yet. It sure is lovely there. Snowflakes are so pretty. I imagine we will get plenty in due time. Happy New Year!
Oh enjoy that beautiful snow! We are hoping we get some more here in Seattle this year, but you never know! I love your ladder with lanterns and your Christmas Cottage sign is perfect!!
This was the first year since 2006 that we did not have snow in December. Oh how I love to sit and watch it. I love it around the holidays but after, not so much.......ready for spring!
Cutest snowman ever! All of them, especially your handmade design. Of course I am a snowman or woman fan. Lovely wintry photos, enjoy this precious time.

Wishing for your pretty snow here in Upstate NY. We had a green, warm Christmas and it was not the same without snow. Your dishes look like Debbie Mumm to me. I have her Santa and tree dishes that I use every year. Happy New Year!
There wasn't a flake of snow for Christmas in my part of Canada. In fact, it was so warm you could be outside in shirtsleeves. You indoor and outdoor snow look very pretty!
I'm jealous Jann :)
We don't have snow here (never), and actually it's warm here the last few days.
I wish you a wonderful holiday season and a very Happy-New-Year!!
I love the red and icy blue combination on your table!
I love your happy snowman table. And your icy chandelier is beautiful! Happy New Year to you and your family..... Candy
