Hello my friends, the weather here lately has been absolutely Spring like.
I know that we are in dire need of more snow, but I can't help but find myself enjoying it!
Last night I opened the door to find that a package had arrived from adagio teas.
Why not have myself a 'Spring Green Tea'?
Recently I was contacted by adiago teas offering me a gift certificate for a review of their tea products. Oh my, did they ever have wonderful things and at such reasonable prices! I got this darling 'spring green' ceramic tea pot. There were lots of pretty colors, but remember; I was feeling Spring. Isn't it the perfect shade of 'Spring green'? These sample packets make 5 cups and sell for $2 each. Today I sampled the raspberry green tea. It smelled heavenly the minute I ripped the seal. And it is so pretty. Almost looks like potpourri with the bits of dried raspberries.
I have lots of pink and green dishes. I pulled out some of my prettiest for this tea.
Last week I shared my Pink Grate that I scored at a vintage sale. Couldn't wait to show you my white one.
All of the dishes sitting on it are thrift finds. I picked up the floral ones just yesterday.
The striped and floral dishes are a set I bought 3 years ago on clearance at Smiths Market Place. I love them! The little floral saucer and depression glass cup are more thrift finds.
Notice that I have my teaspoon of sugar ready? Well, the tea was so delicious that I had a second cup. Didn't even need sugar!
But sometimes we just have to add it to show off our vintage silverware. lol!
And while we're on the subject of silverware, look at this cute bird planter I found yesterday as well. $.75 cents worth of pure charm!
Perfect for holding teaspoons!
Flowers dried from last weeks tea were tucked inside the napkins.
A pretty 'green tea' for you and me!
I didn't do anything fancy, but wanted to show how these binder clips make fun place holders.
I was wishing that I had one of my raspberry chocolate chunk muffins to go with this raspberry green tea. But they were long gone so I settled for a store bought Danish that I drizzled a bit of my homemade raspberry jam over the top.
I will share the recipe for the muffins in another post.
notice my love for butter?
yes, this piece is for me, he-he! No worries, I have more for you!
Wouldn't it be lovely to have a bowl of fruit to go with this tea?
I love the little rosebud tucked inside each bowl and cup!
And of course we need some lovely fleurs!
Even if they are about spent.
I hope those of you who are still knee deep in snow are feeling a bit of Spring love from this 'green tea'. Warm weather will come!
And believe me when it does, it will put a SPRING in your step!
Every table needs a touch of whimsy.
Thanks so much to adaigo teas for these fabulous gifts!
hugs,
Jann

Hi Jann !! Se nota que llega la primavera por ahí !! Y por aquí termina el verano
Hi Jann, wow it does look like spring in your house. This tea looks really good and I like that it's individually wrapped too. I love your pretty china too! Enjoy that spring like weather you are having!
Julie
Love the little birdie!! Great find. Sally
I totally agree...we may need more snow, but it doesn't mean we're not enjoying the unusual weather! Love your spring green teapot and teacups and the birdie spoon holder is so cute! I love Cyclamen! Used to have a lot, but not at this house. Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Oh my gosh, how cute! Pink & green together always reminds me of the Greenbrier china, one of my favorites. That little bird planter used as a spoon vessel is the best, Jann!
Rita
You have such lovely dishes and tea cups! That tea looks really good.
I wish I could join you to sample some of those yummy teas, Jann! Your green teapot is so pretty and looks so nice with all your dishes. Happy tea day!
It looks so delicious!
And the tea table looks beautiful.
Blessings,
Amy Jo
One thing we Islanders don't need is more snow. We just got 86.6 cm of the stuff in the two day blizzard we had this week. That is on top of all the snow we had received in the past two weeks. So I am really enjoying your lovely spring green tea setting. Your teapot is really cute and I like all the stripes. Pink and green look so pretty together don't they? Thank you, Jann, for sharing and joining me for tea today.
Blessings,
Sandi
I love using old planters for sterling silver, I have done it for years. Glad someone else like that too. Lovely china today. Green is always so perfect and refreshing to look at. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha
This beautiful post has me really craving spring Jann. The colors are just so happy today! I really love the grate you scored and love how you are using it.
The little Valentine box you asked about is felted wool and was a gift from my neighbor with all the goodies inside. I think it's the cutest thing!
sending hugs....
The raspberry green tea looks delicious! I also love the green and white striped dishes and the cool mug stand!
It would be wonderful having a cup of tea with you. Lovely!
Your table setting does look like spring time. Everything looks lovely and your muffins and danish. You asked about clotted cream. You may even find it in your grocery near the cheeses. We sell it in our gourmet pantry so find a shop that sells gourmet foods. King Soopers carries it!
Everything looks so pretty. I do LOVE my pink glass dishes, but your addition of the green is simply a breath of fresh air. It is beyond Spring in the desert. It's getting hot already. I hope it cools down for another few weeks! Enjoy your warm weather!
I am a big tea drinker and have not heard of these teas...but I really like the raspberry green tea one. I'll check out the teas...can't have too many. As I said, you have the prettiest dishes, and love that you like your vintage silverware tarnished like me! What a great idea to put your spoons in the little bird planter...I have so many animal planters that I now have a new use for.
Such a gorgeous post heralding all things Spring. Every photo is a treat. All the pretty china makes my heart sing. Oodles of pretties and that li'l bird is so sweet. I must say the Raspberry Green tea sounds delish!
Spring green tea sounds lovely and so is that green teapot! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Being a bird person, your bird caught my eye. Love how you re-purposed it to as a spoon holder. Genius!
This has certainly put a spring in my step today! Everything looks so gorgeous and yummy! Green tea is my favorite.

Thanx for tea! Love it! Jo
So pretty and full of spring. Great color teapot. It's cold here and I'm done with winter
Cindy
Thank you for bringing Spring into my house in this below freezing weather! Your pictures are just lovely. I especially love the little bird for your teaspoons.
I love your bird planter!
What pretty dishes for your tea, love the green stripes. Your bird planter is the cutest!
Oh Jann...you are making me wish that it was Spring, but we are going to get more snow over the weekend and tonight we are having wind chills -20 to -30!! We love Adagio Teas and I just might have to have a cup or two with how cold it is here.

I was at a friends tea party last Saturday, Valentines day, and she had some of their tea!!! She always has such a variety of various teas, most of which I have never seen before!
She has tea parties each month!
Jann, cutest post ever! I just adore how you incorporated the 'green tea' theme with your decor, especially with your beautiful mix and matching of green and pink china. Lovely!
Your posts always make me smile, Jann :) I love seeing the beauty and creativity that you share.
I am in love with your sweet bird and your dishes are beautiful - everything looks perfect for Spring.
Also, the tea looks and sounds wonderful! I will have to check them out. Thanks for sharing at ROI. Hugs to you!
