Don’t you just love the fluffy pink and white frosting on this cupcake? The polka dot liner isn’t too shabby either!
It’s what makes it look so tantalizing!
That’s how I feel about décor. There are just certain embellishments that are the “Icing on The Cake”!
Last weekend I made a cupcake liner garland to use with my Valentine Décor.
It’s a bit hard to tell, but it has both white and tea dyed paper doilies. Pink, turquoise, white, and silver liners small and large tempt you for a tasty treat.
Bits of vintage lace and a bow hanging from the middle. This one is very old fashioned looking. I think that one made from bright reds, pink and whites with polka dots would be so cute also.
I’m thinking that I will hang it from my blue cabinet in the entry. It will soon be filled with a bit of pink depression glass, as well as some new pinks and old browns/
Wherever my garland ends up, I think it will be the “Icing on the Cake”!
Now to show you my other pink project I completed.
A while ago I picked up four old chenille pillow shams at the D.I. for $1.50 each. Two were pink and two were yellow,

Now if you ask me, a pink chenille pillow all by itself is pretty darn cute. BUT the flower is just the “Icing on the Cake”!
Now for the good news. In case you hadn’t noticed, I reached the 300 follower mark. I am so amazed. Really never thought I would ever even have 100. I have loved getting to know so many of you out there in blogland. And SO enjoy your comments. Really, they are the hi-lite of my day.
