Once Spring has arrived one thing you’ll be seeing plenty of is bunnies and chicks!
A trip to your local IFA and those sweet little balls of yellow fluff will be cheep cheeping their way right into your hearts.
And who can resist those soft bunnies with their big eyes and wet noses?
Well, as much as I love these little critters I think that the only bunnies and chicks you’ll be seeing at my house are the ones that never make a peep and don’t do a whole lot of hopping around.
Still. . .some bunnies will be soft as velvet.
or as sweet as chocolate.
Some will sit high up on a ladder or shelf.
Others will rest comfortably in an old rocking chair.
Some will be hard at work gathering their harvest.
While others find themselves running in circles.
A few are a bit bashful and hide behind green depression glass and jadite.
But then there are those who like to sparkle.
Some like to frolic amongst flowers.
Others prefer carrots.
Some have a useful purpose. . .
Others are just silly.
Some are waiting for their owner to add flowers and pussy willows to their nest.
A couple enjoy their cage just the way it is. Well, they might like a few eggs sprinkled here and there.
Some are sweet and petite.
Others are tall and lanky.
Some have a story to tell.
Others just like hangin out.
Some were received as gifts.
Others I made.
As silly as this post may be, One things for sure. . .I sure do love bunnies for Spring! Did I mention that I had them as pets when I was a young girl?
So many bunnies to share that I will save the chicks for another post.
How about you, do you prefer real bunnies or bunnies like these?
hugs,
Jann

What a sweet collection of bunnies you have Jann! They are all adorable. I prefer the fake bunnies myself although our son had a pet bunny when he was little named Peter, of course. :) Have a great day!
Oh, my, Jann! I believe you have a bunny farm! Love all of your little cuties. There is something about little bunnies! I have my share too.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia;)
What an interesting collection of bunnies! Fun!
Every spring when I see the sign on the wall at the local co-op that it's time to order chicks, my heart does a little flutter. But then reality hits me and I realize that for now, I'll stick with ceramic chicks and bunnies. Love your pics. They are SO cheering!
Jann, You have your own Easter parade. I love , love that deviled egg dish. Hope you are enjoying your weekend, xoxo,Susie
So enriching, you have brought my muse to life quickly!
Oh love your pillows. So ready to see bunnies, chicks, green, pink and yellow!
Oh that post was so sweet! I'm still "eweing and ahhing". I love that story about the quilt (now 14 years and still undone...HA :) Thanks for dropping by. Hey, where do you store all these wonderful decorations I see in your home all the time? I'm being to suspect you've got a barn somewhere.
Happy Spring you sweetie!
That is a lot of cute bunnies!! I don't know how you passed on those cute fluffy chicks!!!
xo Kris
Love those pillows! When I was young I would have wanted real bunnies, but as an old lady I would prefer your type in your home! No cleaning up after them and no feeding them.
I love all your little bunnies! The plate is adorable. And are those jadeite measuring cups I spy?
Jann, I love your spring decor! I love both, the real ones and fun ones! I hope to one day live on a small farm and look forward to including both :)

Oh-everything is so so so very, very cute, Jann. I am not hauling any more Easter out this year because I am staying at my daughters until almost Easter (with the new baby and Mom healing). I am having fun seeing everyone elses decorations though. I am living vicariously here- xo Diana
LOVE, love, love your bunnies....especially the velvet one and the running in circles ones! I decorated in all bunnies this year too!
We had a bunny for our kids when they were little!
You have some darling bunnies. I purged some of mine this year. Just no room. But that doesn't mean IF I found one I couldn't live without I wouldn't buy it!!!
Adorable bunny collection! I agree, the live chicks and bunnies are as cute as can be but with 3 dogs, I'll have to pass. Your collection suits my home better :)
Thanks for sharing!
Angie
Love your sweet bunny collection!!
hugs,
Cindy
I think real bunnies are cute, but I have to admit that, for my house, I like the ones like you have at your house. What a sweet post!
So charming...they are all nice but I especially like the green and white bunny plate! Enjoy the weekend :)
So many sweet bunnies Jann ! Love your stitched bunnies !
Your bunnies are adorable Jann, and your sweet post made me laugh! I do prefer the non-real version (we bought live bunnies for our boys for Easter one year and they turned out to be a real headache! Ran away all the time, nipped our fingers, were supposed to be dwarf but got BIG, etc...LOL). I'll stick with the stuffed version from now on!
I love this post and all your bunnies!!!~~Angela
Jann, I once had a bunny collection like yours! I had almost forgotten until seeing all of your cute displays.
I love SEEING real bunnies-haha. My daughter would love a pet bunny, but we just don't live a place that would be good for that. She'll have to be happy with her gerbil for now :)
Hope you're having a lovely Sunday afternoon.
Jeanette
I love your bunnies!
Hello Jann, When we were little my Daddy raised rabbits and our children always loved rabbits for pets. But I do love little porcelain rabbits that look vintage.
Have a great trip!
Roxy
Jann, what a great collection of bunnies you have. My favorite is the first one. I agree with you, though the chicks and bunnies are cute I would rather have the silent ones instead.
Cynthia
I love all your darling bunnies! They are just precious! Your charming little displays are just perfect for our halting, hip pity hopping spring... Love it!
WOW! I do believe that you have got yourself a wonderful collection of bunnies! LOVE them all! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
That's quite a collection! I like the velvety one the best:)
Jann, I love all of your sweet bunnies! What a wonderful collection. I love the bunny in the nest on the red tray, and the Thursday Ironing Bunny cup towel is precious! Thank you for sharing your collection with us! ♥
Your collection of bunnies is wonderful, Jann! They just put a smilie on my face.
The chick and bunnies are adorable. I can see why people get caught up in the moment. I need to keep with the stuffed kind. But oh they are so cute.
What a great collection of bunnies! Love the velveteen rabbit, and the one pushing a cart of eggs. They're so cute. Can you believe I'm still shopping for Easter decorations? Have a great weekend.
love them all, esp, your stitched ones, jann!
Jan, bunnies do have a way of multiplying quickly. '-)
I had a real bunny growing up and also had one as a class pet when I taught school.
I think my warren of faux bunnies rivals yours. Like I said, they do multiply. Thanks for sharing all your sweet bunnies. Fun post!
What lovely Easter inspiration. Very nice collection. It certainly makes me super happy.
Janet
Those baby chicks and bunny are darling. Our boys had bunnies when they were little. I loved seeing all of the ones around your place too. So fun and festive!
Spring has definitely sprung!
Leann
That's quite a collection of bunnies! If I were one of your bunnies, I'd be hanging out with the ones behind the depression glass and jadeite--what a view! Hope you are having a terrific week :) --Fran
What a charming post and an adorable collection of bunnies. I especially like the what appears to be tin pitcher/sprinkler with Peter Rabbit on it. Baby chicks at Easter are one of my favorite memories.
Wonderful! We always had bunnies for pets. We kept them when my kids were young also. Lovely post
