Mind Your P’s! (Pretty Pink Pyrex)

I’m pretty sure that when mama said, “Mind your P’s and Q’s, that she meant:

PRETTY PINK PYREX fit for a QUEEN!

Mama, up in heaven this baby, (did I ever mention that I was the baby of 8 children); is doing her best!

Cute pink striped ones.

As well as Pink and white Ivy leaves.

Now the last thing this girl needed was more pink bowls.  Crimenently, I only put them out for Spring. Oh sure, I’ll use them at a party now and then, but the color really doesn’t go with my kitchen. Apparently crimenently is not a word, I got the underline thing.  Sure is in my vocabulary.

Who am I to not mind my mama?

Don’t they make you anxious for Spring?

I’ll tell you what, I sure am anxious!  Can’t wait to get my hands into that dirt.  Been so busy with the living room that I’ve hardly had a chance.

Spring officially starts on March 20th.  So I would like to kick it off with a little give away.  Not a lot, just a little something my friend, Beth whipped up.

This cute cupcake pincushion.  Isn’t it sweet?  Now if that doesn’t look like Spring!  Love that big flower on top.  Reminds me of those babies you see with flowers as big as their head. Gotta love it!

I will leave it open until the first day of Spring, March 20th.

Good luck and don’t forget to mind your P’s! (and Q’s)  What exactly are P’s and Q’s anyway?

Hugs,

Jann

I love pink Pyrex! Where did you get those great pieces? I have a few mint green Pyrex dishes but no pink. Poo!

I'm trying to learn to crochet so that little cupcake pincushion blows me away. I'm going to put it on my FB page. (I love those cute plates it's on too), lol. Yeah, I'm in Spring mode :)

Have a great weekend,
Shasta

Oh, how lovely are those P's & Q's!
The pyrex is so beautuful and looks to be in perfect shape. Just gorgeous! I always thought, when it was said to mind your p's & q's that it meant your Please and Thank yous...good old fashioned manners & respect.
Your pink pyrex is just so pretty!
Have a great weekend!

That is a cute pin cushion! I know the word you used and I used it, too. As far as P's and Q's...I looked it up, and it was so memorable that I FORGOT what it means! How's that for an answer? Need to get busy so have a great time these next few days. We are supposed to have really nice temperatures for about 5 days!♥♫

I had never seen pink Pyrex until several people have been showing it online lately. My Mom still has a Pyrex bowl she got when she was married, but it is just a not so attractive yellow color. We keep it in the kitchen just for the sake a memories, but it's one we don't use.

I'd be using those pink ones even if they didn't match my kitchen.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Happy Pink Saturday!

I love your pink Pyrex, and I do use pink in my kitchen and dining room for spring, but mostly my kitchen is red and white. Ps and Qs means pints and quarts,"mind your own Ps and Qs" as in don't worry what someone else is doing. never hear that expression anymore, do ya?

I just saw a pink striped bowl on Flickr, and fell in love with it!
Am I too late for the giveaway? I've decided I need to start using a pincushion instead of dumping the pin box every other day!
