My Alpine Home

We have lived in our new home in Alpine, Utah for four years now. My current goal is to make a larger more open home (which works great with our extended family) have a bit of cottage charm and seem more cozy. I hope you will follow along and give me encouragement as well as advice as I embark upon this challenge.

Share Your Cup Thursday #44

Hello and welcome to Share Your Cup!  The place you come to share what ever it is in life that makes you happy.

Thanks to you my faithful friends for making this party a success!  Last week there were quite a few new people joining SYC.  So happy to have you. I hope you will join often!

First of all I want to show you the fun give away that I won at Angie’s from Knick of Time.  This fun ‘red hots’ fire starter basket donated by Kim and Mark from 317 Designs.  Thanks so much to both of them!

Also thanks to Deborah from Green Willow Pond for featuring my I've Got Your Number post.

Now for some fabulous features:

I adore this shed of Laura’s from Cottage and Broome!  Winter or Summer it has me drooling.

Elizabeth from Home is Where the Heart is went to a quilt show.  Not only did she get to see fabulous quilts but came home with an awesome ladder!

Don’t you just love this awesome bucket collection of Sally’s?  Find her at Salmagundi.  She calls it her bucket brigade.  Interesting stories behind some of them.

There were some amazing furniture pieces last week.  It was difficult to pick just one, but I love the color combo of this makeover by Patricia from Old Things New.  Visit her to see what fun things she did on the sides and in the drawers.

Striped Gray Dresser After 001-001

Jeanette from Creating a Life Now made a new fun and inexpensive shade for her lamp.

A few rules and then let the fun begin!

1. I would love for you to be a follower of Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson.
2. Link up a particular post and not your entire blog. Please limit your links to no more than three.
3. Please have a link back to this post. That way others will know where the party is. Feel free to grab my button on the sidebar if you’d like. Only those with links back will be featured.
4. Please find time to visit at least a few other participants. It’s a great way to find new blogs

After you link up please come back and leave a comment. They help to fill my cup!

Hello, my sweet friend!
Oh, It's so good to be home. I'm struggling with a case of the flu, but am so very grateful that it waited til I arrived home.

Little Chandler is doing well. We had quite a scare at his birth. He and his mommy are getting stronger and loving having Daddy Tim home with them until March.

I have missed you and have treasured your loving notes along the way. My heart is so full of gratitude for your prayers. We all needed them.

It's a joy to be able to join in and Share My Cup on your wonderful blog. I am a fish out of water without my blogging pals.

What delightful blogs you have featured this week. Laura's cottage is absolutely magical snugged amidst the snowcovered landscape. Oh how pretty it looks in the Spring, too.
Elizabeth's quilted bedroom is so homey and welcoming. I'd love spending a night snuggled under her many quilts.

Blessings to you and thank you, Jann, for your fond friendship.
I am always hesitant to put my funny old face on my blog...but, after 25 hours awake and a miracle or two later...I decided to share my proud Grammy moment anyway.

Much love my sweet friend,
Carolynn xoxo
