Christmas in July. . .

When I saw that the Texas girls from Cowgirl Up was hosting a Christmas in July party I was more than excited.

No, not because I’m anxious for the holiday or even the snow.  Although cooler weather would be welcome in these hot days of Summer.  Not too worry, Fall is just around the corner.

But because I get to share with you my new OLD Christmas find.  This is just a teaser, I promise you will get a better look at Old St. Nick.

The Star Mill Antiques have been having a great sale lately to try and clear out some of their inventory.  I found this treasure, but because they knew it was so old and in pristine condition they would not go any lower than $15.  I had to bring him home with me.

I know that I can do a lot more with him when the holiday arrives, but for now I already had this terrarium decked out with red and white ribbons for my cherry décor.  Worked great for Christmas

I didn’t want to dig through Christmas boxes to find snow so my crinkly throw from IKEA did the trick.

Now here he is with the terrarium removed so you can see what a jolly old fella he is.

And in case you still don’t BELIEVE, here he is up close and personal.

And Santa never leaves home without his trusty reindeer.  Love them on this glittery base.  Wonder if this is Donner and Blitzen?

I had to show you this last picture because it looks as though he is traveling in a blizzard.  Now we all know that has been known to happen.

One things for sure. . .Santa always seems to arrive on time.  Sure hope he doesn’t come in July. lol!

I hope you will hop over and see all of the fun Christmas ideas.  Never to early to start dreaming!

I thought my vignette had a bit of a cottage look so I am sharing it with Lavender Cottage Style Party.

Hugs,

Jann

What a darling reminder that Christmas will be here before we know it. Your terrarium makes a perfect home for Ole Santa and his reindeer!
Thanks for sharing this cute post, Jann!
Blessings on cooling breezes,

Hi Jann,
What a great find! Love him in the snow storm! I don't know why it never has bothered me to think about Christmas in July! I have started working on some Christmas handmade decor. It is never too late to start sewing for Christmas especially since all the Quilt shops have the newest Christmas fabrics!!
All the Best,
Christine

Jann, this reminds me of the scene from Frosty the Snowman, where Frosty melts in the green house! Then Santa comes to his rescue with Christmas snow! You got to add Frosty now! Seriously, please!!!!
Blessings,
Susie

Jann,
I have several of the same reindeer but they were from my parent's home! I would love to link this post up to my Christmas in July celebration on my Christmas Blog. Let me know if it is okay. All I ask if I do is a shout out on the Celebration going on on my Christmas blog in return.

Hugs,
Deb

It was such fun, wasn't it?
I will be leaving the links on my Side Bar until October.
