Easter Under Glass. . .

Marty at A Stroll thru Life is hosting a ‘Cloche Party’ for Spring.

Dear, how could I not party with her?  I love anything under glass and cloches are one of my favorite things.  They are just so much fun!

Although, I do need to learn how to take pics of them without a glare.  I’ve tried with the flash off and I don’t like the coloring.

A sweet little paper Mache basket with a single egg resides happily under this tall mini cloche. It’s hard to tell, but there’s a little bunny parade scene around it. What says Spring more than a lime green tulle bow?

IMG_5790

The taffy stays locked so that Mrs. Olson won’t eat it.  Seriously, I’ve had it for a few years and it’s as hard as a rock. lol! I mean it’s a real tooth breaker.

Chocolate bunny is ‘hoppy’ to live under such a fancy cloche.  Wonder if her name is ‘Fancy Nancy’?

IMG_5791

My bell cloche is the home to a pedestal birds nest. I love the soft pastel eggs!

IMG_5794

This little chick has a cupcake for a nest.  How lucky is he?

IMG_5793

This chick riding bunny resides under my unusual green cloche I bought at Williamsburg while vacationing in Virginia.

Little vintage clocks under this wire cloche remind us that “It’s Time for Spring!”

There you have it, my cloche collection.

If you don’t have a cloche, I suggest you get at least one.  It will make you so ‘hoppy!”

Hugs,

Jann

How awesome! Now for a question has anyone ever lifted the bell jar cover and let out all of the candy? I ask this because I know that is what would happen here! LOL!

Thanks for sharing your pretty Easter cloches at Your Cozy Home Party. I would be so tempted to eat that cute little chocolate bunny but that would be bad, wouldn't it? Each one is cute and puts me in a springtime mood. It is actually very warm here today. Have a great day!----- Shannon

Darling cloches! You have given me the idea and excuse to run out and buy some chocolate bunnies to put in my cloches on my table for the grandchildren. They will be thrilled.

Good morning Jann, You have fabulous photographs of your Easter decorated cloches. You have so many and they look so pretty and festive grouped together in the vignette. i love the little basket with the egg. The pink stand is adorable and the green bow is perfect. I lol when I read about the rock hard candy. That will keep Mrs. Olson and candy snackers at bay! I haven't done any decorating yet for Easter but this is perfect inspiration for me. Happy Spring Jann……..

Hi Jann,
I love all these ideas you have. I think the chocolate bunny one is great, because I always think they are so pretty. But at my house if I left them out, a pet or a person would be eating them right away! With the cloche, I could actually display it. It would probably stay unharmed for a little while!
Blessings,
Susie
