Romantic Red & White. . .

Red and white is the perfect color for romance.  What better time than  St. Valentines to pull out my red and white quilt and use it as a tablecloth?

I made the quilt a few years ago and it is among my favorites.

For this smorgasbord style luncheon I have my vintage red glasses close at hand.  The French drying rack holds both glasses and cups.  The goblets are an estate sale find.  They are bubble glass from the 60’s.  The pitcher is a replica purchased from Home Goods.

My taffy filled cloche is all dressed up for Marty’s cloche party with a pretty bow and cupcake liner flower.

The large plates were purchased at Target years ago.  I found the salad plates at a thrift shop for .75 each.

Red and white tulips from the grocers gives us hope for Spring.

This vintage S&P shaker is my hubby’s favorite.  He loves that the holes on the pepper have been rusted out and it gives him lots.

My two end chairs go perfectly with the mixture of red and whites.

For me, red and white means Valentines delight!

Love this!!! Red and white so refreshing and pretty! Only thing nicer would be me being able to sit there and enjoy. Beautiful.

I've always loved a quilt with a scalloped edge - yours is perfect for V-Day. It's cold and snowy here, what about Utah? Take care. Sally

Oh, Jann....I am drooling! Your red and white quilt is a prized winner! It's gorgeous and so perfect for Valentine's Day. Your red cups, goblets and pitcher are spectacular. What a profusion of vibrant color. And, all those polka dots...What a happy place you have created to sit and sup with your favorite beau.
I love every sweet detail, my dear friend!
Thank you for your darling comments and wishes on my little Chandler. His name was chosen as it was my DIL's maiden name. A perfect choice, I think. I have never seen so many monkey themed decorations, outfits, booties, bonnets with cute little brown monkeys on them.
Have a Happy Day, my sweet friend,
Carolynn xoxo

I love the red and white quilt. I saw another one on Creative Cain Cabin and have been wanting to make a red and white quilt since then. I might have to copy your idea.

Oh how I love your red dish collection. The only person who loves it more than me is Dustin! He seriously thinks its the coolest. I wish I could spend V-day at the table accidentally pouring way too much pepper on dinner because of the rotted holes.. :)
