I a-DOOR You!

Hello my friends,
What a wonderful time I have had attending the 'Home and Garden Festival' with my sister-in-law in Charleston, SC.

(here I am standing outside of our B&B, the John Rutledge Inn)

I'm sporting my hat to keep the sun off of my face.  We could not have asked for more beautiful weather!

She signed us up for three events and got reservations at some of the most fabulous restaurants.

We have traipsed the streets of Charleston up and down numerous times for the entire week.

I snapped a ton of photos and today I want to share with you some of the gorgeous doors of Charleston.

You'll find them in all sorts of colors.  Some are very fancy, some are just sweet, and others may be a bit rustic.
but
no matter what, I a-DOOR them!

Still at the end of the day when we've walked what seems like 100 miles,  I always look forward to finding this door.  (wink)

And now for a fun announcement. . .
The sweet gals from Thoughts of Home Link Party have invited
Share Your Cup to join them in a monthly garden party that will run through the summer months.

Our regular Share Your Cup will still continue each week.

It will start April 25th.  Please mark your calendars and get your garden or floral posts ready to come join us.

It's sure to be a wonderful time.

If you're like me and love to spend time in the garden it's always a delight to see what others have done! And nothing helps to brighten your day more than flowers!

hugs,
Jann

I will be sharing with these lovely parties:

Dear Jann:
You should read Laura Child's tea murder mystery's as they are all set in Charleston. People are always looking their in the historic district trying to find the Indigo Tea Room (which is fiction) from her books. Have fun!

So many gorgeous doors. It sounds as if you have had the most wonderful week. I agree, nothing makes a gal more happy than the door with the 'Ladies' sign above it. =)

Dear Jann, it has snowed 6 out of the last 10 days of April...and it's freezing cold. Daffodils are up---but refuse to open. Hard to even imagine we will have any garden to show. Thanks for the invite though. We visited Charleston in Spring and it is...Gorgeous, Sandi

Hi Jann!
It looks like you had a fun time in your "fe-door-a!" Love all the doors. I could spend weeks just admiring different kinds of architecture. See you soon,
