Winter Sparkle. . .

Hello my friends,
and happy winter!!

I love the magic and beautiful lights of Christmas, but it always feels good to get things cleaned up and be a bit back to normal.

I can't go to a completely bare home, so out comes the
winter sparkle.

Anything winter themed is welcome.

A big thank you to my sweet friend, Amber from
for hosting this Cozy Winter Home Tour!

If you are hopping over from Decorate & More with Tip , welcome!  I'm sure you are getting lots of winter inspiration!!

We have a lot of snow, and it sure does glisten!

The clocks and the tree were thrift finds and I sure do love them.  Perfect for a new year!  The postcards are New Years as well.

Add a fire and you have a warm and cozy welcome!

The living room mantle got a makeover as well.

Nothing says 'winter' more to me than warm fuzzy mittens.  These were a gift from a sweet friend.

How about a glittery deer with a cuddly collar?

The vintage Gurley deer candles were part of my Christmas gift from Becky.
 She's a craft group friend.

These cute deer were also a thrift find.  Don't you love it when you find a vintage treasure?  The sparkle of mercury glass trees adds a touch of bling!

I took a lot more pictures, but I think I'll save them for
 another time.

And one last pic.  : )

Oops, I shared three.  lol!

I made the screwdriver snowmen a few years ago.  It was a really fun project!

My craft group present came in this cute tote.  I filled it with some winter sparkle!

You will want to head on over to
and see what she has to share.

Now don't forget to go visit the other ladies.  They are all so talented!!

Happy Winter,

Your home looks both pretty and festive decorated for winter. My vintage loving heart did a pitter-patter when I saw the plaid suitcase on your fireplace hearth.

Wonderful as always, love your bottle brush trees. I bought some more white ones at the end of the season, she don't say anything.

Love your mittens and the watches hanging.

Jann, you always have the most amazing thrift finds! I always enjoy your posts, partially because it's like finding treasures up in grandma's attic. For several years I've looked and looked for clock and timepiece ornaments and pieces to decorate (first for my Wonderland "don't be late" party) for New Years. Envy your find! Love how you style a mantle and create vignettes.

I can't get enough mercury glass, and I love the trees you have! They do add just the right touch of glam. Everything looks perfect for winter. How fun that you have a craft group, Jann! I wish I had something like that locally. Love the screwdriver snowmen craft, by the way. Enjoy the rest of your season!

True life changing story of COPD.
My father was a smoker for forty years. He started when he was a teenager in high school in the early 1950s, and continued to smoke about a pack a day until he quit in 1995. For years he thought "You know? 1 smoked for forty years, and I got away with it !" No. No he didn't. In 2014, nineteen years after he had quit smoking, he started noticing that he was having trouble with wheezing and feeling like he was out of breath a lot. He was diagnosed with early stage COPD. For the first year, he was able to get by with simply using rescue inhalers once in a while, but by late 2015 he needed supplemental oxygen. At first, he could get by on the lowest tank setting of 1 liter per minute, but as time went on he needed an Oxygen concentrator at home and he needed more and more oxygen. Last year (2020) he was up to the oxygen concentrator's highest setting of 5 liters per minute, even while just sitting down. By this time I had moved in with him to take care of him. Sometimes he would be gasping for air, and he would ask me "Son, is the machine on? I just can't get enough air" his condition worsened, our hearts melted every moment as we watched him gasp for breath,we were sure he would die any moment, by the time I started reading YouTube comments,I stumbled upon a comment that said there is an traditional herbal doctor called Dr Itua Herbal Center man that cures this ailment and other human diseases,I quickly contacted him and ordered the herbs with my father's money because he wouldn't need it anymore cos he would die any moment,I received the herbs in two days and from that moment he used the herbs, he began to feel better and better, few weeks later, he was completely cured, I thank you for reading this story about my father's experience with COPD. If you know someone who is a smoker, and you love them, please encourage them to quit. We love Daddy.all thanks to Dr Itua.
if you have this ailment or have other ailments like..Alzheimer's,Cancer,Parkinson,Hiv,Herpes,Hpv,Kidney disease,Diabetes,Hepatitis,, email Dr Itua Herbal Center on
drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com also chatted with him on whatsapp number: +2348149277967. and he will send you herbs to cure you completely.
