Worth the wait!

Last Fall on my way to my hairdressers, Shalona I passed a sign that said Estate Sale.

Of course my Tahoe did a 360 and headed back up the road.

Needless to say I was late getting to my appointment.  Oh yes, I am considerate and tried to call her but she was working on another client and couldn’t answer.  Sorry, but I was too busy picking things up to text.

When I arrived, a half hour late; I took in a cute little lamp base I  had bought.

Now my hairdresser is not just a hairdresser, she is a multi-talented hairdresser.

She is always making the cutest things out of muslin, burlap, and paper.

She snagged my little lamp up and took it home to make a shade for me.

I got it last week, and boy is it ever cute.  I think you’ll agree, it was worth the wait!

Darling rosettes of ribbon and fabric.  Some she bought some she handmade.

I love the soft pink color of the base.  It has such a cute shape and design.

I don’t know about you, but I think it looks right at home on my new half-door shelf!

See what I mean?  multi-talented hairdresser!

What has your hairdresser done for you lately?  lol!

Jann

Obviously I don't have a hairdresser:) Maybe I should share yours....no wait, she may want to get out some scissors! Guess I'll just have to drool over your awesome finds, and what she tops them off with. Still looking for a lunch day....

Well Jann, I know you have good tastes. I have the same teapot in the far right of your pictures. *Hee hee*

I love the colors of the lamp next to your shutters. She did a wonderful job making the shade. Thanks for dropping by my party this week.

Jann, the lamp is beautiful and the shade is its crowning glory. I love what was done to the shade and coincidentally I picked up 3 similiar shades at Goodwill this week with the intent of redoing them. Now I know how I am going to do them.
