Share Your Cup Thursday #29

Hi my friends and welcome to Share Your Cup.  This is the place to share what ever it is that makes you happy.  In other words, what fills your cup.

This past week has been such a busy one for me.  So much so that I was unable to visit very many links.  Because of that there will be no features this week.

Here’s a bit of what’s been keeping me so busy.

Tonight I will be hosting my first of two parties that I am using the theme “Dead and Breakfast.

Look at what hubby made for me.  I saw this in an old Better Homes and Gardens holiday book.  Just so happened that I had an old pillar in my garage.

I want to add some crows to the top, but didn’t quite get to it.

I went to my daughters and her and her hubby helped me cut a stencil with her cricket.  I thought that would be much faster than painting the words.

I bought the headboard at a yard sale in Idaho last year.  I gave it to my daughter for little Saydee.  When she said that they wanted to paint it black I knew I had to borrow it back. lol!

I tied a garland to it but decided I liked it better plain.

Sorry that I was unable to visit all of you wonderful people.  Looking forward to seeing what you have to share this week.

Also, a little late; but here is a give away in celebration of 600 followers.  It’s you that makes blogging so fun.  I love each and every comment you leave!  Just a cute little rice bag tote and a Christmas magazine.

Leave a comment on this post and your name will go in the drawing.  Link up a post and I’ll throw it in the hat for a 2nd chance. Winner will be announced at SYC next week.

Now for a few party rules:

1. I would love for you to be a follower of Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson
2. Link up a particular post and not your entire blog.
3. Please have a link back to this post. That way others will know where the party is. Feel free to grab my button on the sidebar if you’d like.
4. Please find time to visit at least a few other participants. It’s a great way to find new blogs.

Hi Jann!
I was sipping tea and blogging this afternoon at a local Tea House...and, somehow, the comment I left for you went bye bye. So, I am going try to recapture my previous comment...Here goes:

I love your "D&B" sign. What a hoot! It is so clever and I'm sure your trick or treaters are going to have a scare.
It made me think of the camp song I learned as a girl.

"At the boarding house where I live,
Everything is growing old.
Long gray hairs upon the butter...
Everything is growing old.
When the dog died we had hot dogs,
When the cat died cat nip tea.
When the landlord died I left there.
Spareribs were too much for me."

I hope this doesn't gross you out, my sweet friend!
