Happy Birthday America the BEE-utiful!

Today we celebrate with honor, pride, and humitly
birth of our nation. ..
Happy Birthday America the BEE-utiful!

When someone gifts you with something Patriotic, what do you do?
Create a new vignette of course!  Lol!

Recently, Claudia, a friend from my old neighborhood called and asked if I would be willing to let her granddaughter hold her wedding reception in our back yard.
The other night they came to have a look and Claudia gifted me with this darling table topper to say 'thanks'.
Did you know that Utah is called 'the Beehive State?"
I love how it says it on this vintage honey pot!

I've shown my honey pots before, but they were perfect for this vignette!  And can you believe I scored the set of three blue cake stands just this week at our local thrift shop for $15?

The beehive cloche was another thrift find last Oct. It put me back all of $2.   Notice the flying wire bee? There is one on each side.
I added a blue bottle and small flag inside.

Wishing everyone a happy and safe 4th of July!

May it be a BEE-utiful day!

Jann, the topper is bee-utiful as is your vignette. I knew Utah was the Beehive State, but I've never seen a honey pot with the inscription. Now I'll be looking for one to add to my own honey pot collection. The blue glass cake stands were a terrific find and an amazing price.
Happy 4th of July to you!

I used to collect the beehive souvenirs that read Utah or The Beehive State. Now my daughter decorates with them every year. I love it when I can find a good home for well-loved items like that. Lovely display and will be great for Pioneer Days as well!

Beautiful vignette Jann. Love the bees. What a nice friend to give you such a pretty gift. Did she make it? Are you having the reception in your back yard?
Enjoy your 4th.

Happy and safe 4th of July to you and yours! What a darling place mat. I've always loved bee skeps...did you know these arched hives are called 'skeps'?..and enjoy seeing them in ceramic, glass, fabric or in the garden made of straw/grasses. Always nice to see what you've been up to. Enjoy the day :)

Wow! What a nice decoration! Are you having this part at any event rooms for rent? I must say that you have used very graceful colors for the decoration part. I am also trying to use this kind of color collection for my daughter’s birthday party.
