A Red Nine is Mighty Fine!

Hello my friends,
this morning as I was scanning through Instagram I spied a party that I have joined a couple of times.

It's where you share a collage of nine in a specific color.

This weeks color just happened to be my favorite. . .RED.

Of course I wanted to join in the fun!

It's not hard to find red in my home so I simply walked around snapping photos with my phone.

Then I narrowed it down to 9.

1.  gingham pillows and bench that I painted for our
basement kitchen
2. Plastic canister set bought off of vintage yard sale Utah and gifted pie saver.
3.  Exit sign coming out of our theater room
4.  Strainer full of cherry and gingham dishes
5.  Thrift find red clock
6.  dotty and redwork pillow gifted to me by Carol from
7.  Red rooster and thrifted plates
8.  Wicker planter with faux red geranium
9.  vintage sifter

Afterwards I couldn't help but smile thinking of no matter how old we are we still like to play games, join in the fun, and make
 new friends.

May the childhood tendencies in us never cease to exit!

Happy Red Nine Monday!
hugs,
Jann

You have lots of cute red, Jann. It always looks so cheerful, especially with a white contrast! As others have said, it would be difficult to pick a favorite! (Although the cannister set might be making my heart sing a little more loudly!)

Why did we all get away from red? Recently I've seen a few red rooms popping up again in decorating and they looked so good. Hoping red walls will make a comeback in the near future.

I'm just realizing that those plates with the cherries and checks match my teacup that I received my blogging friend, Deborah.

I have never been much for reds, am in to turquoise and blues. One of my friends has reds in her kitchen and even found a red blender, toaster and coffee maker.
